Buildings are precariously perched on hillsides in Windwardside, the second largest village of Saba. At 1,700 feet above sea level, the views are astonishing as you amble along the lanes, taking in the red-roofed homes, banana trees and oleander bushes. In a 150-year-old cottage is the Saba Museum, once the home of a 19th-century sea captain, which displays period pieces and old documents. Windwardside makes an excellent base for hiking, especially up the 1,064 steps to the top of Mount Scenery.

We took a birthday girl there for a celebration and were told by locals that it was the best!
Reservation are appreciated, as it’s not that big a place.
Good bar with excellent martinis and gin and tonics, good wine list, mostly South American.
Friendly, efficient staff
Shrimp Brigadoon, Chicken marasla, Teriyaki mahi-mahi, and foie gras and tuna were hits!
Romantic setting. Don’t miss it!

We had lunch here after hiking Mt. Scenery and it was just right- two big Heinekens, a burger and a fish burger complete with fries and coleslaw- yum! We sat on the patio and the view was amazing. We only came here during the day but I could see this place as a good party spot at night!

At Queen's Gardens Resort Restaurant everything is homemade. The place on Saba for not only a casual breakfast, lunch or dinner, but the place also to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries or honeymoons (Have dinner in the birds nest located in the old mango trees)It is a magical place, you should check it out. We look forward to welcoming you.
My husband and I had the most romantic of dinners here and it was yummy!. We were seated in the gazebo surrounded by white lights and Gardens with a view of the Caribbean. Our waiter went over the specials and for our appetizer we had the pasta which was a show we will never forget. He wheeled a tire sized wheel of cheese out and heated some liquor which he poured into the cheese and made the pasta, topped with shaved truffles. This was a hard act to follow....my husband enjoyed his lobster and I my Mahi.

Tropics Cafe is the perfect place to relax any time of the day. Its charming Terrace dining room overlooks the pool with a panoramic view of the mountainside terrain and the sparkling blue Caribbean Sea. Complement your experience by relaxing at the pool as the cool Caribbean breeze flows. Relish in the beautiful scenery and memories, while enjoying one of the many cool refreshing drinks and unique menu choices that only Tropics Cafe can provide. A great way to spend your day!
We have had the pleasure of having many breakfasts and lunches/boxed lunches here (which are excellent), but were really excited for our longer trip to allow us to dine in for supper. We have eaten at all the top-notch restaurants on Saba (Chez Bubba, Brigadoon, Queen's Garden) and Tropics is absolutely the best supper on the island. The bread and dipping oil is fresh and packed with flavor, no bland oil here. My husband and I split the grilled Cesar: tasty, dressed perfectly, large portion, and good quality cheese. For supper, I had the classic shrimp curry which was absolutely delicious and my husband had the jerk chicken which was also perfect. The sides fit the dishes well and the mashed potatoes are the best I have ever eaten. Portions properly sized so you aren't starving at the end and prices very fair in this category of dining on island (most reasonable of the finer dining establishments). The gelato and profiteroles for dessert were quite tasty. 2 bar drinks and all this food, only $89!
My only regret is that we only got to eat here once. Next time, we will definitely make sure to eat here more. If you want fine dining, great views, and fair prices, look no further than Tropics. You will not be disappointed.

They only cook Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday, but the food is great! Especially recommend the Sunday steak dinner -- great rib eye steak cooked to order. Friendly owners, friendly waitress!

Center of town. Center of everybody saying hello to everybody. Very welcoming island and people of every race under the sun enjoying each other...o, about the food?
You can’t go wrong, you can get there too late to miss out on some of the pastries.
Don’t go to Saba and not go to this place

I prefer other restaurants the island, but the people that live here and the medical students love it. It is very difficult to get to. You must drive or walk up a steep skinny street. It is clean and the food is good.

Chez Bubba Bistro, the only French Bistro on the island of Saba. Dining in an intimate, romantic setting with classic French dishes and weekly changing specials. Our Chef uses only the freshest of ingredients and all that you will enjoy is homemade! A dining experience not to be missed!
This was one of the two places we ate at while on Saba. To our surprise this island has some great food! From the appetizers to the main course to the desert. It was fabulous! The Chef put his own personal flare to all of the dishes and we were pleasantly surprised. It was some of the best food we have had!
If in Saba you wont be disappointed here!
