It is not always easy to get vegetarian gluten free fare. Choices are usually quite limited. So we ended up with salads and they were fine. The hummus appetizer was outstanding - delicious and a very generous portion. Carnivores would probably do better here. Our server was very helpful did her job well.

Lyon Grill is a contemporary American restaurant specializing in prime steaks, pastas, pizza, char-grilled burgers, and fresh seafood. Our expert kitchen staff takes a multicultural approach to traditional American dishes--bringing life and tantalizing flavors to your favorite items!
Heard from several locals of this place.
Arrived and waited 20 mins in a cramped lobby, built to hold 4 people, but there were 15 others including several running around children. The hostess kept telling us 5 more minutes. The place is so loud, I should have trusted my feelings and left. When we were finally seated, we were at a table right by the door going to the "patio". Every time a server passed, either my wife or I were bumped. Our waitress was slow as could be and not at all friendly. We waited 10 mins for a drink and another 25 for the food. The food is a joke - the pizza is the worst ever, and the white fish left a lot to be desired. Again, the volume in this place is ridiculous. We watched other tables seated after us receive their food - although it did not look any better than ours.
Can not figure out why people think this is a great place....Will never go back, Too Loud, Crappy Service, Poor Tasting Food. If you live in South Lyon and hate to drive more than 2 miles to eat, you should visit the Lyon Cantina or Lake Street...But there are soooo many better restaurants within 10 miles of this place.

New restaurant in Brighton. Owned by a chef who worked at a local Country Club now out on his own. Hearing good things about the place. Needs a a spot on TA.
It's so hard to find great "farm to table" restaurants that truly embrace the philosophy. The folks at the Wooden Spoon in Escondido not only embrace the philosophy, they could help write the book.
All their ingredients are fresh, organic, and delicious.
Although they may have sacrificed location, they make up for it with great service, wonderful dish selections, and quaint atmosphere.
I highly recommend the Wooden Spoon for your special gastronomic needs.

Had Shrimp Fried Rice- Apperance : Good, Taste : Mediocre. The Kung Bo Chicken : just plain BAD, something in it that was rubbery-couldn't figure out what it was, the chicken had no flavor, tons of chopped garlic, Shrimp Foo Young: Another BAD dish- tasted like something that you would get from Dennys if they had Chinese food.Egg Rolls straight out of the frozen food section at Krogers, This is pretty much the only Chinese restaurant in the area so that is probably the only way they stay in business , and then they're Expensive. Do the extra drive & AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Just had tha apple pie blizzard. Delicious, but what makes this location stand out is the owner. At least i think he is the owner. This gentleman is there all the time. He is very nice and always smiling. Takes time for a little banter if he is not to busy. I see him treat his employees with respect also. Whenever I get a craving for a blizzard (a lot) i will wait until i get to this location.

Our first visit. We didn't have reservations, but thank goodness we arrived at the perfect time. We were seated right away, our waitress was very good, food was served promptly, and all of it was incredibly delicious! We will definitely come back, and tell others!

This was our 1st visit there. We drove 2 hours to have lunch there an chose outside dining. It was very hot and sunny and we asked for a table under an umbrella. Although there were several tables with umbrellas unoccupied we were told none were ready and were seated in the hot sun. When our waitress came we asked if the table next to us with an umbrella was available. She said yes and that it was in her section and allowed us to move there. After ordering drinks and an appetizer a male older manager approached us and asked how we got that table. We told him that the girl sat us there. He challenged my statement and said "No, you asked for a table with an umbrella and was NOT given one". and that the tables with umbrellas were saved for others. When I said the waitress move us he left. I saw him confront the waitress with an attitude after. The waitress brought us our appetizer (nacho supreme that was very good) but failed to bring us plates or silverware. When she came back for our main order 15 minutes later we asked for plates and utensils and finally were able to eat the now cold appetizer. For the meal my wife ordered a chicken sandwich and i ordered a bacon cheese burger that was delivered without any bacon. It took apprx 45 minutes for the 2 sandwiches and my burger without the bacon was cold. I doubt we will return. I prefer better customer service and management without an attitude

Beer and lunch specials. Tomato bisque soup, very good just thick enough with a little spicy at the end. Polish sausage with potato salad and fresh fruit cup. Fish and chips, burgers with fries. All food was good and served hot. Servers were good without being obnoxious, did not have to look for them. Sat on outside deck with nice view of the lake

Took a nice ride down the Lakeland Trail from Pickney and stopped for lunch. Didn't expect much but the sandwiches were downright good and the service excellent.
It's also a great place for some local color at the bar where everybody knows everybody.
Has a deck outside also, but then you would miss the bar. Particularly liked the Reuben, lots of good corned beef, tasty.

Step Up to Health & Flavor... La Marsa in Brighton offers your the opportunity to explore the freshness of the Mediterranean diet. Enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner and experience gracious hospitality. The entire menu is also available for Carry-Out. We also offer Catering for groups of all sizes.
Been going to La Marsa for years. Recently ordered the lamb chops and could not have been any happier. Great food and very good service.
We tried to carry out a few times but found the order and eat in the restaurant is much better. Carry out service is good but the food was typically semi warm by the time I got home. Eat at the restaurant - much better experience.
