Booked a table for new Year's Eve dinner. Happily got a window seat. We have been 5-6 times in the past and never walked away thinking "That was a great meal"
Servers were promptly at our side. Cocktails arrived. Then Caesar salad which was boring, lacking any zing. We both asked for prime rib medium rare. Both got well done meat, grossly over cooked. But still tasty.
This being New Year's Eve, I had expected more options than their usual fare. And also expected prices to be slightly higher than normal. If you are serving a limited menu selection, then it would seem simple enough to get it right. This was not. Time for us to move on. There are many better places for a special evening.

Stopped in this small diner yesterday for take out. Had Greek dishes and chicken fingers. The food is good. The service was good. But the Greek dishes are pricey at $15 for a diner at a remote location. They have daily specials at under $10. Which have good options.

This is wonderful fish and chip shop that hearkens back to the good old days when mom and pop fish and chip shops were common. Unfortunately those days seemed to be gone but while Stouffville Fish and Chips is around no need to worry. A family run business where the fish and fries are still all hand cut. The selection is great from Halibut and Haddock to Tilapia and Cod. The choices are endless and the extras delicious. Try the Mushy Peas, Green Peas, or Pickled Beets they are all good. Soups and salads are available and they even have Fried Clams.
This is a must try place which has a nice atmosphere for dine-in or you can always take-out.

We ordered from this place a couple of times but decided to have it as part of our spread for New Years. Their party tray had all the fixings and everything anyone could want from vegetarian (yam tempura) to standard (California rolls) and specialty rolls (like dragon rolls). Everything was delicious and there was more than enough food for the modest price. Will return again

Had dinner here. Shared Moroccan octopus and Brussel sprouts. Both were delicious, especially the Brussel sprouts, crispy on outside. We both had paella, it was full of seafood and rice was perfect. Shared creme brule and peanut butter chocolate mousse. Both were great. Service was friendly and helpful.

Its called Thai villa but many of the menu items are Chinese related (chow mien, breaded chicken ect.) I ended up getting the chicken pad Thai. It wasn't very flavourful and was in no way authentic thai food. My partner had a deep fried chicken/noodle dish that was "alright" but again, did not taste like something from a Thai restaurant. If I'm ever in the mood for Chinese food I might go back to this place but I definitely wouldn't recommend it as a Thai restaurant! They had some lunch specials which were affordable and the staff was friendly.

This steak house is one of the best I have ever been to, not bad for a small town. Service was excellent, everyone’s steak was as ordered. We had Reservations (Saturday before Christmas) but we were early enough that they were not likely needed. Plenty of parking and easy to get in/out of.

Red bulb is a quaint coffee shop tucked away on Main Street. Great drinks, and also great bakery. Somewhat expensive for a small coffee shop though. Place is very small inside so do not expect a seat as it is quite busy during rush hour. Staff can also be somewhat standoffish at times.

We were travelling through and wanted something local instead of one of the big chains. The local cops were dining here so we reckoned it must be good, I had a tasty full English breakfast with an English muffin and my husband had the French toast with a side order of bacon, really worth the research and friendly service! Would recommend.

This little place, which is attached to a Mack's Milk is unlike anything you would ever expect. Its a nicely decorated, fancy establishment. While small, it creates that nice intimate feeling. The food is exceptional. I have tried multiple dishes and everything is spectacular. VERY reasonably priced. I would highly recommend.
