Divey and delicious!!! Stopped here on our dirt bike trek across Colorado. Lunch and cold beers. Def a hoppin, local hangout. I had a fantastic BLT! Hearty, thick cut bacon and fresh tomatoes and lettuce. My boyfriend enjoyed a burger and fries, that was beyond your basic burger. We sat at the bar and were well taken care of. A must stop here place in Westcliffe.

This is a nice little bakery run by the local Mennonites. Everything looked delicious and it was hard to choose. The apple fritter was delicious. Prices were reasonable, but note that they only take cash or checks. No seating inside, but two picnic tables just outside (and a small park next door).

We have eaten at "Willie's Place" many times over the past two years, and yesterday was exceptional: Best coffee, great tasting eggs and bacon (smoked),wonderful hot cakes, all served on hot plates and freshly cooked grits! Doesn't get any better than that and Willie is walking around visiting with guests and making sure everything is nearly perfect. Temperature was warm and inviting with a pellet stove in one corner, and a very friendly server.
We will be back folks!

Late in the afternoon, we decided to have some icream; the vanilla, marshmallow, and strawberry (?) ice cream was good, and welcomed on this hot day. I had a small latte which had a nice taste, and the milk was not too hot. Sit outside on the wood chairs and enjoy yourself.

One of my favorite restaurants anywhere. Great view, rustic mountain atmosphere and expertly prepared meals. Small salad bar that is always fresh and includes a specialty salad. Two homemade soups to choose from. No matter which meal you choose from the menu or nightly specials it is always delicious.

My husband and I visited Tony's and were not disappointed.
We were seated right way and the waitress greeted us and took our drink order.
We order a side salad with the house dressing and some garlic knots.
The side salad was crispy mixed greens ( no iceberg lettuce), fresh tomatoes and shedded mozzarella, fabulous!!!! The garlic knots was buttery and hot.
We also order the mountain man pizza. The curst was perfect!!!! Lite sauce and plenty of meat and cheese. We took over half of the pizza home. It was even better the next day.
In previous reviews people stated it took a long time for their food. As all the pizza are made to order we did expect to wait awhile for our pizza. Our salad and knots were out within 5 minutes of being ordered.
We notice that half of the orders were take out orders which could explain the delay on the pizzas.
We will definitely be back next year.

Lori and her staff are AMAZING! We visit Westcliffe 1-2 times a year and NEVER miss an opportunity to drop in! Love The Mother Lode and a getting bottle of red wine.

We are a self-service restaurant, however, meals are made to order, substitutions available, everything (with the exception of our French fries and mozzarella sticks) is made in-house.
Food very good but had to pay tip upfront while serving our food and drinks ourselves. Just very unprofessional behind register.

Be aware that this is a butcher shop and not a restaurant. However, when we went there they were working with a smoking company and offering cooked ribs. The ribs were excellent. They also offer meat sticks and jerky, which is ready to eat. Everything else (with the exception of the salads) will need to be prepared. Think of it as a Papa Murphy's. We got the BBQ beef sticks and the kalbi ribs. Both were excellent and we will try some other items in the future. Service was friendly and accurate. We would go back again.

Family, friend, local and tourist friendly. There wasn't too much open when we pulled into town. This oasis of friendly service, delicious food (our group sampled veggie burgers, Turkey burgers and salads) and a view of the mountains provided the perfect spot for an evening meal with friends. We liked it so much we went back for breakfast which was equally tasty. Our only regret was not to have enough time to go bowling.
