I grew up on this ice cream. Del’z Freeze has made the best ice cream for over 50 years. They have the best twist cones and they are generous with the portions. They even have crunch coat. So get out there and give this place a shot. They have shakes, sundaes, banana splits and frozen bananas. It won’t disappoint.

I do breakfast a several restaurants and this one does not stand out. It took us a while to get seated (it was on a Saturday). The prices are higher than my favorite breakfast place. The food is ok... nothing special, but it is a lively place.

We've been here many time and I have actually previously given them 5 stars. Last month we went and didn't get the typical side salad, but the food was good. Wrote it off to server error. Went again with another couple, telling them how great it was. Boy was I disappointed. Server must have been new. Didn't know what was in a chef salad. Ordered Cavatelli and Brocoli and asked them to add sausage, like I always get it. I ended up getting 2 pieces of sausage in red sauce in a bowl on the side. My friends calamari was undercooked. They don't give salads anymore. Prices went up. My 2 sausage was 8.00. Total for my wife and I was 87.00. She was dissapointed with her Chicken Francais. Chicken was very tough. Sorry... Won't be going back..

Dining experience has always been worth the trip. However, two weeks ago called for a reservation for Sat. evening at 5:00, the Tuesday before, and was told they were full. Called 3 more times hoping they would have a cancellation, because it was a good friend's birthday, and got the same reply.
Friday, took the trip to the restaurant for lunch. Was greeted not by "hello" or a smile, but, "do you have a reservation?" - in quite the haughty manner. We said we didn't and the waiter at the door, had to go to what may be the owner, and ask (from the looks of things) if they would let us dine, I imagine. He arrived, and escorted us to the table next to the kitchen, telling us a long drawn out story how some people like to be seated there because it is cozy or close to the kitchen so they get the food hot and quickly - all the while he had open tables in the bar area and scattered in the main dining area.
We finally sat down! We expected a throng of people to show up WITH RESERVATIONS! and the restaurant proceeded to empty out with no one replacing the vacant tables. What's up with that?
We usually order the same meal and look forward to it - it was good, too bad the meals were cold when they arrived. (Despite being right next to the kitchen - ahem.)
The service was very good and the waiter pleasant.
Have a question mark about returning.

We discovered this place by accident. Since then it has become our "go to" Chinese restaurant. Most Chinese restaurants here are take-out or smaller mom-and-pop establishments. This place is quite large and is exceptionally clean. Sushi lovers will die for the sushi bar, which is over 20 feet long. There is also a hibachi station in the back of the restaurant.
And the selection of food is HUGE!! It is an all you can eat buffet with nearly 100 different dishes! The restaurant is a great place for large groups as there are lots of tables and selections for every palate. And there are also kid-friendly foods such as French fries and ice cream.
Chinese food fanatics might not like the dishes that are aimed for the American palate, but the food is still good and the buffet selections are never empty.

It's been a long while since we've eaten at Longhorn and we were reminded why. The place was clean but had a peculiar odor I couldn't place. Our server was nice and mostly attentive. The food was mostly average at best:
Roasted white cheddar stuffed mushrooms - pretty good
Kobe steak melt - good-ish, but a bit dry and too many onions
Shaved prime rib sandwich - decent, but the chippy chips were terrible
Shrimp & lobster chowder - pretty tasty
The whole experience was unremarkable. It'll probably be another long while before I try Longhorn again.

I started with the “Classic 1800 Margarita” which I really liked. For my meal I ordered the “Tropical Cuban pulled pork sandwich”. I had mine with coleslaw on top with a nice roll. I loved my sandwich.
My wife had the Chicken Tacos and she liked hers very much!
I must say that it was very crowed for lunch and some people elected to leave rather than stay and wait for a table.
I loved eating outside on the patio. My wife looked inside and thought it was very nice inside. The menu had whole fish done Cuban style which I love. So I will be coming back soon for dinner.

Luckys is a nice market offering organic produce along with local products like chocolates, nut butters etc. They also provide health foods, medicines etc. We can also find a good selection of bakery items including breads, vegan selections etc. It is a nice place to buy produce.

West Melbourne does not immediately come to mind when one thinks about decent Vietnamese Pho. But, surprise! Pho Viet is a high quality Vietnamese restaurant.
The restaurant is American Standard—vinyl tiles, booths, tables, serving counter in the back. Except for the lettering on the window, there is nothing vietnamese about the decor. The service is adequate, I went when it wasn’t busy just before the lunch rush. When I asked for a pair of chopsticks, I stood up and drew the attention of all of the other diners before the waiter turned around.
The menu features a variety of standard vietnamese fare (Bun, cha gio, vietnamese spring roll, lemon grass chicken, etc.). It’s all rather uninspiring until you get to the Pho. I ordered the Dac Biet (house special). And while the side vegetables and quantity of meat does not rival California, its broth and noodles can match any shop in Garden Grove. And Pho is all about the broth. This one was good enough that I slurped the bowl.
This place is in a Wickham strip mall just off the super busy West Haven/Wickham intersection. And drivers may need to do some creative turns to get into the lot without going all the way around the (very big) blocks.
Well worth the effort if you’re in the area.
