We had dinner last night at this restaurant and it has to be one of the best meals out we have had in a long time. The service was friendly, the decor and feel of the restaurant cosy, clean and comfortable. The food was amazing. We had the steak which was delicious and the puddings were amazing as well.

Ate here twice while doing a boat trip. Nice atmosphere... service friendly and quick. They were very accommodating and allowed us to have kiddies meals! Steak and angus burgers on previous visit were fabulous. Very convenient when barging, as it is right by the canal.

Although Weesp has many restaurants, this one checks all the boxes, all year round. Food is really good, fine and exclusive but not too expensive. The wines are excellent and staff are very professional, friendly and accurate. This restaurant is pretty small and looks like a living room. I'd recommend this to anyone, local or tourist.

This family restaturant has always been committed to creating excellent unusual French Cuisine dishes. Only the best ingredients are good enough for the Chefs. The restaurant was initiated by the father of the current chef, who is an excellent chef. The son in now the main chef and he singlehandedly proves the evolution theory. What was good is now even better.
The dishes are very creative and so excellently prepared, I drive 80 km just to have dinner at Minevitus every now and then.
Mom is the sommelier and she can give you excellent advice which wine would go best with your dinner and just as happy to serve you a perfectly drafted beer if that is your preference.
While being a high end French Restaurant, it is unassuming in it's own way, I always feel like I am in the country side around Lyon at a family restaurant and the family just want to give you the best food experience a human being could get.
This is one of the restaurants you do not want to miss if you are around Amsterdam.
You do need to make a reservation.

Italian cuisine is not only about Pizzas , even if those served at Selene are delicious with thin and crispy crust , with topping of your choice. My favourite remains the Aubergine Al Forno and the day special which is usually imaginative and of good value for money. Very affordable and of high quaility . the wine is not to be forgotten and is thouroughly chosen by the Chef.
In Selene , you re not in Holland but in a NYC Italian restaurant with Billy Joel as background music ..Very romantic ..

Nice place to eat something, nice owner who is also the cook in the kitchen. The food is good, meat is from the nextdoor butcher. If you want to eat something for a very reasonable price go here.

Great location on the river Vecht, beside Fort Uitermeer. In warm weather the outdoor Terrace would be a lovely place to have your meal or just enjoy a nice glass of wine or a beer. There is plenty of room for Seating both indoors and out. There are also spots for boats to dock so you can arrive at the restaurant using the water. The decor is nautical in nature with beautiful accents.
Our party of 4 enjoyed lunch inside as it was too windy to sit outside. Pleasant and personal service was provided by our waitress. Our choices from the menu included an open faced tuna salad Sandwich, a hamburger with french fries and two fiorintina cheese, pastrami and sundried tomato sandwiches. Our drinks and sandwiches arrived quickly. They looked and tasted wonderful. The cost for all of us, including tip was about 50 Euro's.
Good food and good value. I would not hesitate to eat here again.

When visiting Weesp one should go and tast the icescream of Nelis.
Fresh made icecream on their own premises. My favorite taste: Lemon cheesecake is to die for. I visit Nelis with my family on regular basis. One can also sit inside and have a nice coffee, relax a bit. I say go Nelis whenever you visit our beautifull city of Weesp !!
