This place is definitely worth a stop! I ordered a margarita and the waiter brought me a 2nd for free just to try a different tequila and tell him what I thought about it. I got the Jalapeño Chimichanga and it was huge and delicious. Make a pit stop if you're in the area!!

I think the blizzards here are much better than other DQ's. The burgers are pretty good also, but I've only had them once or twice here. The staff is great, and they did a good job of keeping up, as it was very busy. One problem - seating, They definitely need more of it, but I guess that's life...

Located in baseement of the historic Miller Armstrong Center. Built at the turn of the 20th century this converted grocery warehouse now is the home of Jonnie Beans, Club 57, ELM Homes, the Miller Armstrong Conference Center, and the Miller B & B. The warehouse was purchased in 1999 by Gene and Bonnie Miller, weeks before the historic building was scheduled for demolition. After years of painstaking remodeling Jonnie Beans opened in 2004.Jonnie Beans is an internet coffee house serving breakfast and lunch daily (Monday - Saturday). Jonnie Beans serves fair trade coffee, omelettes, paninis, soups, sandwiches, and more. Excellent food in an excellent setting.
Great food! Every time! Sometimes the service is poor though. Staff don't go above and beyond. They do their job and what is expected.

My family eats here a lot! We are a large family of 13. We usually come for birthday's or celebration. Food is excellent and so is the service. One of the problems with all of us coming in is space. Not much space for such a large group. We usually call in ahead of time.

Club 57 is part of the Miller Armstrong Center (MAC). The MAC is recognized in the national registry for historic landmarks. The building opened in 1899 as a Grocery Warehouse and stayed that way until the early 1980's. The building was in disrepair and only a month away from the wrecking ball when Gene and Bonnie Miller purchased the building and undertook the renovation of this historic building. Now the MAC features Club 57 bar and grill, Jonnie Beans coffee and internet cafe (serving breakfast and lunch) and the Starfire Grill, home of amazing steaks, seafood, pasta, and great wines and beer. The MAC also is the home of the Miller Armstrong Conference Center (seating up to 96). Travelers looking for a cozy place to stay can book a room in one of our four bed and breakfast suites. New to the facility is Tee Time golf featuring two golf simulators located just across the street from the MAC.
Went with 8 people to celebrate by 60th birthday. Had seen advertising for the place but no one had ever been there. Drove 40 miles in the snow but it was worth it.
Chose this place for its Tuesday night specials. It is in a beautiful restored old warehouse with nice wood beams and warm atmosphere.
Some of us had the all you can eat crab legs and some the ball tip steaks. Crab was snow crab and as usual you are more likely to get tired of cracking them rather than full. But is was hot and a new platter always showed up before we were done with the one we were eating. No complaints. Nice butter warmers and buckets for shells. Baked potato and vegetables included too. At $20 it was incredible.
The $9 ball tip steaks were amazing. A nice portion with little waste, seasoned and cooked perfectly. We will all make the drive again just for the steaks!
Drinks were good and the service staff was always fun and on top of everything. Manager came over to answer any questions about the place and make sure we were all happy.
Was a great birthday choice and can't wait to go back.

The Starfire Grill is located in what was once the EF Johnson, Cos. packaging facility. Enjoy some of the best steaks, burgers, seafood and weekly specials in southern Minnesota. With a comfortable atmosphere that combines the great history of the building with a classic look of wood, brick, and stainless steel, you'll be sure to have a memorable experience. Patio seating available in the summer and a choice of 16 different tap beers, a vast wine menu, and great signature cocktails to choose from. We welcome small or large groups and catering is available for events.
My husband and I were referred here while passing through Waseca. What a great restaurant!! I had the ribeye and my husband had prime rib. Both here high quality and delicious. The soups were also very tasty (beer cheese and sweet potato curry). I highly recommend this place!!

Casual family dining on the lake. Serving breakfast on Sunday's 9:00am to 12:pm. Lunch buffet includes soup and salad bar 11:00 am to 1:30pm, Mon-Fri. Soup and salad bar served 7 days a week.
I don't come here often, but it's usually pretty good. The food has always been very good (with the exception of the lunch buffet, which, well, just wasn't very good at all). The sandwiches are great, you get a decent amount of food, and the...MoreThank you for your response. We are always looking to improve our business. Look foward to serving you in the future.

We have been to Oscar's 4 or 5 times now on our way through town, Food is really good. We've eaten the Oscar burger, Outback potato, Southwest philly sandwich both steak and chicken. I know when we dined in they asked how we wanted our burgers done. Made the mistake one of 2xs ordering to go not to specify and they didn't ask how we wanted it done. One was barely medium. We had to call back and they remade it for our daughter. We have never been there when it was super busy (we're early eaters). But our service has always been very good.

Overall, this place is OK. Problem is, it's primarily a pizza joint, an their pizza is, well, for lack of a better word, BAD. It can be summed up as "SSS" - slimy, soggy squares. I know some people like it, and maybe it's changed as of late, but my opinion is that pizza shouldn't be limp & dripping with grease. Other food there, like the Mexican, is pretty good, though. And the service decent.
