Firstly I am surprised at some of the earlier reviews as when we have been in there the staff has been bending over backwards for us. We visit there when ever we can and really, the owner isn't happy till you're happy. Quite often they are lined up out the door, and with a small kitchen they just can't handle Takeout. At any rate lets get on to the important part: the food. I almost always have the chicken. The chicken and home style fries served with coleslaw is the best I've had, pretty well anywhere. It always comes out hot and is tasty and not greasy. On my last occasion I had the cheeseburger and fries.A terrific burger really large enough for two to share with those great fries. They lineup for the ribs there, which I have also tried. They are delicious and tender, but not always available. I have also had the steak Sandwich which is very good. The prices are more than reasonable even cheap. Hey,this is a rural restaurant. No frills but great food, great prices and almost always, great service.

We always look forward to going to TR's as a couple or with friends. It definitely is "THE REAL McCOY!" Excellent food, excellent service, always consistent. Higher end so be prepared to pay a little more .This place is a very popular venue in charming Wasagaming with current chef and front end manager logging 26 years. Great wine list - wide assortment of scrumptious appetizers & mains, including pastas. Be sure to make a reservation or be terribly disappointed!

We did multiple meals there while staying in the area. We ate outside, inside, and Takeout. All good.
The kitchen offers good salads, sandwiches, breakfast food, etc.
The bakery is very good with an assortment of many staples (including sausage rolls and cinnamon buns--two of our friends' favorites) made from scratch

While the server was great, and the food was all correctly prepared, I was disappointed that for an "historic" restaurant (with the price point of the food what it is) it was quite mediocre.
There wasn't anything that anyone in our group (12 people) ordered that stood out.
Will not be going back.

Wow - a tremendously delicious selection of to die for gelati. We opted for Mango & Lime and Lemon and Salted Caramel. They generously suggest you to sample before making your selection. So many flavours - so little time...

For people who have not visited here before then, I believe that they would be impressed but. I have enjoyed their menu for years, previous years. Their expansion has cost them. Their menu, prices, food quality, overall atmosphere has been lost. They should return to practices that were established. Oh, that almighty dollar has/will be your downfall. Sorry.

Not much was still open at the end of September - but the Boardwalk was. The staff were friendly and welcoming and always ready to chat and talk about the town and surroundings. They have several menu items available, coffee is always ready, as is the ice cream. They also sell clothing and souvenirs. They will be closed for the winter after Thanksgiving.

We had a pizza, cheese sticks, and iced coffees. The coffee was the best we have had while in Wasagaming. The pizza and cheese sticks were great! Well prepared, lots of toppings! The staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

We ordered a medium pizza and it took forever to arrive. The waiter was so uninterested in serving us that we felt we were imposing on his time. When the pizza arrived it was so sparsely covered with ingredients that we almost complained but we were at the point that we just wanted to go somewhere else. The pizza cost $26 and it was one of the worst we've had anywhere. We will not be going back to Foxtail Café even on the recommendation of others.
