Stopped in for lunch, great atmosphere and the location in downtown Visalia is also great--the city did a really good job in developing Main street. I hope Fresno will take notes from Visalia in revitalizing its own Fulton Street. I had the best Club Sandwich, what made this stand out was the thick bacon, can't wait to go back!!

This was my first time to This restuarant and bar, my Lions club friend and District 4-A2 cabinet secretary suggested This place. We did enjoy the good and the atmosphere with our esteemed guest visiting from Atlanta, our 3rd Vice International President Lion Judge Haynes along with our District executives . Just need to add more drinks choices , especially in red wines and single malt .

You have to try this. I walked to the GAS STATION for a snack. I had no idea that Fugazzi was attached to a mini-mart. To heck with a snack. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo and was amazed at the size of the order, the amount of deliciousness of this little place. I went back many times. The wings were great. Definitely a must have if in Visalia. 5 stars

We loved to go here after church. They have drink and appetizer specials on Sunday. Actually there are different specials every day of the week. The food is great and they have a great variety of craft beers and wine on tap.

We stopped here on our way home from camping in Three Rivers. Looked them up on TripAdvisor :)
Great little Swedish stop. There is a store in front where you can buy gifts and in the back is the restaurant. We ordered the Viking breakfast, yum! Sat at the counter (always the best seat). Not too much food, but just enough to get us back on the road.
Don't hesitate to stop, just off the Fwy.

The big plus is that they have recently started using gluten-free bread and pizza dough. They do not have gluten-free beer. I did not have any of the gluten-free bread, so I can't give an opinion. I had ribs, garlic fries, shrimp scampi, and vegetables. They were all average. They were not bad, but there are better options in town. Our server was amazing and the atmosphere is spectacular.

Let’s face it — there’s nothing quite like having a friendly restaurant when you don’t feel like cooking for yourself. The great thing about the Black Bear Diner in Visalia is that we excel at creating dishes that feel homemade. Whether you’re looking for breakfast, lunch, dinner… or even a cup of coffee and a tasty dessert… we have exactly what you need.
We stopped for Monday night dinner. Wait staff was attentive, restaurant was clean. Meals were quite tasty, both taco salad and Turkey w/mashed potatoes. Vegetables were cooked just right, not mushy, and the huckleberry milkshake was thick and delicious. Always a good and reasonable priced meal!

Ordered a personal pizza with a salad. Both were delicious and plenty to eat for lunch. Nice little local spot.

We had the two dinners for $25 (a little play on words about their address-225 W. Main St to have 2 dinners for #25) Rosemary chicken was the main entrée. Well prepared along with vegetables, breads and a bottle of wine (ours was from Central Valley in Chile. Very enjoyable evening with attentive but not overbearing service The specifics of the menu special weekly. Our experience would prompt a return visit when in Visalia.

We had good quality, large portion food in this small restaurant. It's open till 10 pm in the evening unlike some smaller restaurants. The staff were a little distant at first but once we got into conversation they were very friendly.
A great choice for something different to the usual American diner.
