The food here is terribly inconsistent. Some days right on and then the next visit, either the cook didn't show up and quantities limited or donuts are smaller and taste differently. Every time you go there are different people working which much say something about the work environment or inadequate pay. Most of the employees aren't friendly. If the owner would put forth some effort, this place could return to its glory days.

Tarantinos' specializes in serving family style authentic Italian food made from scratch using family recipes. We do not own a microwave and are the first and only authentic Italian restaurant withing at least 50 miles. Tarantinos is just not a name we came up with, it is our family name. We take pride in our food and service and want to give you an experience that you will never forget and inspire you to come back again and again. We also are expanding little by little thanks to our visitors and hope to complete our expansion project by 2020. This is a family ran business who welcomes you to join our family. We challenge you to try our restauant if you love authentic Italian. We have just added an outside dining area where we will cook some of our specials for you at table side. Thank you and God bless you all. Take out only on Tues through Thursday. More than welcome to eat in. We turn to full service on Fri Sat and Sunday
Went out here for a birthday dinner. The food was excellent. Atmosphere was great. Service.... Horrible. Glass stayed empty pretty much the whole time and they werent very busy. The waitress acted like she didn't want to be there and paid our table little fo no attention. We asked several times for different items and never got them. Would give 5 stars but service speaks volumes and it just wasn't there. I kind of felt like I was intruding. Not very welcoming in my opinion. Everything else was good. Prices are high to me for a Vidalia restaurant.

Had a great hot chocolate made by the owner. It is so nice to see the entrepreneurial spirit in our young folks. She had a great selection of creative coffees in a downtown location with ample parking. Keep it local when you are living in or visiting America's small towns. It matters.

They have the best salads. I have to eat low carbs and I eat the cobb salad with grilled chicken and it is very good.

Nice place to eat, good food and staff. I loved the river steak! However, they need to do something about the flies!

OK...to start with, I live in Vidalia so know this place well. There are a few things you have to know before going here. First, for those not familiar with Vidalia it may be a little difficult to find. Second, it is basically a hole in the wall with zero atmosphere. Don't be put off by the appearance though as the sandwiches here are amazing and served up by some of the nicest folks around. Sandwiches are to go and reasonably priced. My favorite is called the Ms Pie...an amazing blend of peppers chicken steak onions and cheese that will make you glad you stopped by....

Good food, served hot, servers were not particularly warm prop ably because of the language barrier (authentic Mexicans) but were accommodating. They are open on Sundays. The menu had plenty of choices to pick from and they serve beer.

I am so excited that my favorite sub restaurant is now serving Gluten Free Bread! The service was great and so was the sub! There are so few placing that serve gluten free options in small towns. Glad to see Larry's Giant Subs leading the way!

A casual relaxed atmosphere hidden in the trees. High Quality Steaks and Shrimp along with other fare , including catfish baskets, prime rib sandwiches and chicken baskets. When in season, the Vidalia Onion Petals are always yummy! Seasonal oysters and fresh fish specials. Full service bar on premises. Handicap parking available at lower ramp around back. See our Facebook page.
I am a local who has frequented this establishment for roughly 3 decades. It is one of those great little places with rustic charm and friendly atmosphere that I love. The food in the past has been really good and moderately priced. Unfortunately I feel that quality is slipping and value certainly is. My most recent visit was disappointing to say the least. The shrimp are noticeably smaller than in the past. While they are still fried to perfection the quantity presented and the size of them does not match what I am used to. I ordered pan fried scallops and there were 4 and 1/2 scallops on my plate...seriously deficient for the price. While I do like going here I am beginning to question if it is worth going to anymore.
