This restaurant offers very fine dining at very reasonable prices. Several set menues allow you to taste a lot of different plates at an affordable price. Amazing how many variants of one fruit can be combined in a desert. Somewhat longer waiting times allow you to really enjoy !

For once all words fail me. Did I just die and go to heaven? I asked for a predominantly vegetarian set of courses (with some fish) and the chef, clearly a genius, attended to each with cleverness and skill. That is one of a chef's hardest tasks and he passes with flying colours. As do his hard working and brilliant staff. There are few places to top here.

Second time we were there, first time End of May for lunch and now August for dinner.
Beautiful restaurant (historical building) and excellent food. Nice Terrace.
Very friendly for people with children.
Mrs. Veerle Norman is a very charming host and the Mr. Mark Martens is a great chef.

We had the baby Dover soles - three, perfectly meuniere, accompanied by a sensible portion of really good chips and a beautiful colourful mixed salad with nuts & sultanas, nice dressing. Started by sharing shrimp croquettes (reviewed before) & that with the bread, olives etc was ample lunch. Presentation & cooking superb but it's a small place & busy on market day (book if going Wednesday) with quite long waits as it's clearly all cooked to order.

We learned to know this restaurant thanks to the "bongobon" we received. It is a perfect entry to getting to know the restaurant. It is a steak restaurant which focuses on quality meat. And quality has a price but it remains very reasonable.
The quality is there indeed and the meat is really delicious.
Also the house wine is very good and in my point of view the house wine says a lot of the quality of the restaurant. Also on this point the restaurant provides a very good standard. (Probably because a wine shop is part of the restaurant and so knowledge and quality is present).
Service is perfect with a humouristic taste of the owner and the location is very rustic and in the city centre of Furnes.
A place we will certainly return to when we want high quality steak.
Apart of sundays when the restaurant opens at noon, the restaurant is only open in the evening, which might make reservation a bit difficult during the day. But in our case we were called back and reservation was easy.

Bevaerages had here only, but very pleasant....located on the Grote Markt, which is a very pleasant location, and a nice atmosphere. Service was attentive and the Anglo-Belgian 'dudette' was affable and hard working. Will probably sample the food next time.

We took the 3 pieces of schrimp krokets and a tagliatelli with chicken and pesto. The food was very good but when you have to wait more then 45 minutes for this food to be served, it takes a lot of your hunger.

We've visited this nice restaurant twice. You can expect great service and good quality food. Price/quality rate is excellent. Nice choice of flemish dishes in a superb setting. Very stable family business. Better reserve to make sure you can get in.

Cuisine avec des produits de saison et une carte qui change toutes les 3 semaines en inspiration du chef ... .
Food is not bad although the Chef could not take some more lessons at e.g. Le Cordon Bleu. Some of the ingredients are not matching each other or dominating each other.
But generally food is ok.
Service is rather "plate delivering" service. And not interested in Clients - the women prefers rather watching tv.
That is a pity.

We have now been to this restaurant twice after stumbling across it when visiting Adinkerke from the UK and we have not been disappointed. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the food delicious. We can certainly recommend the steak and the white sausage, both cooked to perfection. Hoping to visit again in the near future.
