The atmosphere is just average. The menu is quite varied so plenty of choices for everyone. The good was good. We had the beef stew special and also fettuccini.

This was a great stop during a conference on campus. They had quick service, friendly staff and great food. We will surely come back to this place the next time we are in town.

Community coffee shop, great place for a sweet treat, a great cup of fresh roasted coffee and study or meet up with friends. Gifts and furniture available in the Iron Rooster shared space.
I've gone here a few times and it has always been great. The coffee is fresh and delicious with a daily rotation of blends. What is nice about this coffee house is its quieter atmosphere which is great for studying. Although it was originally an unknown study sanctuary, it is quickly becoming a popular place for students. With reasonably priced drinks and friendly baristas, The Bean really only needs more seating!

We had dinner and we all had something different. My husbands $30 New York steak was tough. We informed the waitress and she took the plate to show the manager. She presented the bill and did not mention anything about what the manager said. I asked the waitress and she replied that the manager said he ate most of it. My thought is that the manager should have come over, appoligized and at least offered a free desert. The service was very good and the atmosphere was also very good. Any steak can be though but to not even acknowledge us is totally unacceptable.

Some of the best Chinese food I have had. Love their chicken fried rice, huge portions and fresh food. They have a great lunch buffet also. We will drive from yankton just to eat here. What a treat. Keep up the great food and work.

We were very skeptical, but followed our friend's advice... Freshly baked breads with deli meats piled high. The usual choice of garnishes and additions made this a great sandwich stop. Salads, pizza and fried chicken are also available.

Place looks a little bit like a dive, definitely needs to be cleaned and updated. Pizza wasn't too bad though. We order an all meat supreme and the mac and cheese pizza. The crust was really good. The kids working were all really nice and friendly. Establishment was very hot, not sure if the AC wasn't working or not.

Dakota Brick House is the step up from the typical gastropub. With 20 rotating craft beers and our one of kind menu we bring something completely new to Vermillion. We are here to provide Vermillion with great beer, amazing food and great service. We want to make sure that every customer walks out of here because they have to not because they want to.
We visited a few businesses on the weekend to drop off our son at the university and overall we learned that service lacked at EVERY place we went to. Sad!
This was no different, we walked in here and asked to sit in the outdoor patio area. The greeter was instantly not happy, told us to "stay were we where" - he'd see if they even had room. So we did, he walked across the room, walked outside and then yelled for us to go out and we could find a seat. We then waiting another 10 minutes for a waitress to acknowledge us. I tried ordering one of their specialty drinks off the menu, and it was not available. After a couple unsuccessful samples of items they had on tap, we ordered sangria's. Not impressed. The food was alright, but definitely not worth the price. Nachos and a pizza, simple pub fair...Portions were decent, our waitress was alright after the initial wait.

We went early on a Sunday for a large family lunch with about 20 people. We arrived at 11 which probably helped. They accommodated us with a nice long reserved table. We had an assortment of inexpensive fried appetizers that were fun to share including fried mushrooms, corn fritters & cheese balls. Our table ordered shrimp, cod, burgers and more. The waitress did a very good job getting the orders right. The food arrived in groups from the kitchen - not all at the same time but that was to be expected. My cheeseburger was very good!
