Chez Francois is exceptional in every way. The menu, wine selection, decor, and service are simply the best. We celebrated our anniversary by dining at CF, but we won't wait for a special occasion to visit again. Can't wait to return!

We stopped here for lunch, and we weren't disappointed. My husband LOVED the chicken paprikash. I tried one cabbage roll (they let me order a single one) and the sweet potato fries. Both were very good. The mac and cheese is homemade, and it was decent, but a bit bland. I would definitely recommend this place for lunch!

Lauren was our wait staff. Very helpful. Very good service. My friend had the special Vermont Cheddar Soup cause she was saving herself for a Hot Fudge Sundae later there. I had the Coney Burger without the cheese. And it came with fries. All excellent. We. Will. Be. Back.

Met friends at this small but wonderful restaurant. Great wine list! Food was fabulous! Service could not have been better. Had a charcuterie appetizer, beet and goat cheese salad and an oxtail pot pie. Shared some wine. They also had some nice beers on tap but we did not try them. Highly recommend but get there early because it fills up fast.

Come on in for our delicious smoked meats, homemade sauces and desserts!
Unbelievably good! The sweet potato hash is to die for. The habanero barbecue sauce is the best. The brisket and pulled pork are melt in your mouth delicious. Definitely worth stopping at.

THE RESTAURANT: We are a Casual Gastro-Pub, grounded in fresh locally farm-grown meats, Lake Erie fish and Ohio produce. Blind Perch hires our close community friends and family to prepare fresh food and present it to you for your enjoyment. We hope to create a closer connection between the food you consume and the organic production of our Local Land and Great Lake Erie. While you enjoy Farm-to-Table food, Blind Perch also offers a unique Speakeasy-Era Atmosphere with Specialty Cocktails that are being "Aged" in our new oak barrels. THE NAME: The name "Blind Perch" is a spinoff of the Prohibition-era termed bar name "Blind Pig". During Prohibition, when alcohol was illegal, the only way to distribute a drink was to give it away - owners sold a "freak show" of a Blind Pig - "come and see my blind pig for 5 cents" and the visitor would get a free drink of moon shine or grain alcohol. We invented the term "Blind Perch" to put a Harbor Town twist on the Speakeasy name. PERFECT for a location at 3700 Liberty that has a very rich history "harboring" drinks and other activities - Bootlegging across Lake Erie was the 2nd largest bootlegging route in the United States. They would transfer the "Boot" from Canada and drop it close to the shore at night, and then the retrievers would pick them up about 100 feet off shore.
I have been here before for lunch a while ago and didn't like it much. However, upon my return for dinner with family I am pleased to say it is tremendously improved. We had a great dinner, service was good and the portions were excellent. The restaurant is very nicely decorated with plenty of seating. It wasn't crowded when were there but It does get crowded at times.
Enjoy.

Nice little local bar, with a really good hamburger. Pool table in the back. Very friendly.
Cool neighborhood bar in beautiful Vermilion Ohio. Above average eats and full bar. Rudy loves Jeger and always has a dedicated cooler full of it. Perfect place to hang out and talk to local fishermen about the days catch. Shoot some pool or throw some darts. There is frequently entertainment on the weekends. And the place gets packed for NFL games.

We hadn't eaten here in a while. We are locals and thought it sounded good for a Friday night dinner. We got online and guess what they no longer have a web site or Facebook page... this should have been our first clue to go else where, but we preceded on. We used some menu photos off the web to call in and order a woodstocker sub and a small Margherita pizza. The girl said would be ready in 25 minutes, so the hubs went to get it. He brought it home and was disappointed to find the subs don't come with chips or the slaw. His sub was dry and tasteless and was thrown in the trash. My pizza was dry and pretty over-cooked. Also they don't use fresh mozzarella on the margherita pizza... don't call it a margherita if it isn't made right. There were very few teeny tiny pieces of tomato and shaved pieces of basil. This was the worst dining experience we have ever had at Woodstock. Did someone else take it over. It pretty much sucks now.

Celebrated our anniversary with drinks and dessert here. I had the Belgian Chocolate Mousse - it was outstanding! The bartender made evening very special by having "Happy Anniversary" in chocolate written on the side of the serving plate! We also had several of the Milk Chocolate Martinis between the two of us - they are great! Unfortunately, the TripAdvisor listing for the associated restaurants incorrectly list them as being closed on Sunday nights, so we had dinner elsewhere. Regardless, Tyler (the bartender) made our evening special!

Come for the location and view, but don't expect much else. Return visit, hoping the perch was better, but again a very small portion with a higher price. Basically bar food with a few other options. Sat on the top level of the patio and had a male server who clearly doesn't seem to like his job. Service was slow for everyone around us, and noticed many others at the door waiting for a table. Smoking is permitted outside which was a huge turn off. Not sure we'll return.
