We (2) ate here at lunch, the restaurant was packed and the service was kind of slow. The food was okai, nothing special. With main dishes, wine, dessert and coffees we end up paying around 38 euros.

Great food & price! Visited with my family and we all enjoyed our orders.
Soups & bifanas ordered were delicious.
They have inside & patio Seating. We were at the patio & enjoyed the nice evening.
Service was a little slow, but that is to be expected as they were quite busy.
Parking on premises available.
Will definitely return next time I'm in the area.

My wife was born in Lisbon and her family comes from the south of Portugal, a town called Reguengos de Monzaraz. Her family traveled between Lisbon and Reguengos almost every weekend and between these two places is a town called Vendas Novas, most famous for the origin of Bifana. There are many restaurants at malls or forums nowadays claiming to be the original. However, my wife says that there were only two restaurants serving Bifana over 40 years ago and those two restaurants/cafes are Cafe Chamine and Cafe Boa Vista across the street.
My father-in-law likes Cafe Chamine but my wife prefers Cafe Boa Vista as she likes the saltier flavor. In my 12 years of visiting Portugal we have visited each and the choice on which to visit was always due to which side of the road we happened to be at the time. If we were going south to Reguengos we would visit Cafe Chamine. If we were going to Lisbon then we would visit Cafe Boa Vista. In either case, they are both excellent and the best you are going to get as far as Bifanas.

I wandered into this burger place because the restaurant nearby that I wanted to eat at was full and I was pleasantly surprised by the quiet, simple, uncomplicated decor and the calm service. The burgers themselves are nothing to write hme about, which is a shame as that could really give them the push start they need. The chips are home cooked and tasty. The desserts are excelleent at 1,50EUR each! Try the red fruits compot or the white chocolate mousse. A good compliment.

We went with all family for a trip trough Alentejo.
We stopped in Vendas Novas and launch in this beautiful place with very good and tasty food.
Very relaxed environment with very good food and wine!
If you want to fell the very typical Portuguese food, you must visit this restaurant.
Ask for the owner suggestion and for sure you will be very well treated!
Must go again!

A group of 7, we were among the only customers when we entered so were a bit apprehensive. That soon changed. Within half an hour the joint was packed. The food was excellent and the amounts copious. The black pork with migas was delicious. My wife´s fish was also very good. The waiter was friendly and helpfull. I was amazed that the kitchen was able to keep up with the steady influx of customers. Great desserts and coffee. I´m ever in this town again, this is where I shall eat.

Local agradável onde se pode petiscar ou fazer uma refeição com grande qualidade na confecção bem como nos produtos utilizados. Comida caseira. As batatas fritas não são pré congeladas o que já vai sendo uma raridade.
