I stopped by Jim's with my husband while we were in town visiting friends and family. My friend raved that these were the best donuts around. The place is open 24 hours which makes it even cooler. We walked in and were greeted with tons of options (although a local who came in behind us said they had nothing and we were missing out). We grabbed a variety of donuts, taking the recommendation of the girl working and the local guys who came in behind us. They have lots of cake type flavored donuts. The red velvet and strawberry were delicious. We also got a peach fritter that was literally the size of my head. It was giant and so good. Definitely better than your typical chain donut store. We got nearly 2 dozen donuts and it was less than $20. I would definitely visit Jin's again when in town.

Great sports bar. Friendly service. I love their wide variety and great selection of beer. I particularly like the orange citrus beer. Great wing deals. Plenty of seating for groups of 10+. It does get quite crowded on wing night so get there early parking is limited.

Who would have thought, homemade soup at a little ice cream shop...but yes, it is homemade and delicious.
Veggie Soup tonight!
Soft pretzels are amazing and go fast, so get there early.
Fries are crinkle cut, burgers are delicious and juicy made to order.
I haven't had anything bad here and the menu has a full selection.
If you haven't tried it yet, you must.
A perfect stop in the warm months to sit outside and enjoy the planes from the airport.

Excellent food but I always take it with me. Not the most inviting atmosphere for eating on premises. Old furnishings and dingy lighting. Food itself is always good. They have a buffet for lunch which is good and quite reasonable.

It's Valentine's Day , or almost, so we ordered a large heart shaped pepperoni pizza. We have not tried Cassanos for a long time. It was excellent !! Crispy thin crust with good sauce and flavorful pepperoni Sooo good! Also tried the BBQ chicken with pineapple. Also very good !! We will be ordering Cassanos again soon!!

This was our first trip to The Hairless Hare Brewery. It is becoming difficult to keep up with all of the breweries opening up in the Dayton area - but we try!
We went for dinner as well as brews. Pizza is the main thing on the menu plus some appetizers, a couple of sandwiches and soup the night we were there. The 2 vegetarians split an order of soft pretzels with beer cheese dip, which was good but they could kick it up a notch with fresh pretzels from Smales instead of frozen, and the pesto/ sun dried tomato pizza. Nice crust and yummy toppings. Carnivore ordered the BBQ smoked brisket sandwich and a cup of the beef vegie soup. He was quite happy with his selection. The brewery has several tables and one goes up to the bar to order food and drink. They have 12 taps pouring their own brews. I had the Batch 147 IPA - very nice if you are into hoppy beers. One of us had a flight of 4 beers - her favorite was the sour. The other drinker had 2 beers and also liked the sour best.
It seemed like a friendly place - we enjoyed it!

This restaurant is listed as one of the best in the Dayton area, and they were not wrong. We showed up late one evening but were seated and served promptly. Service was very good. Drinks were refilled promptly. My enchiladas were quite tasty (chicken and cheese. I did not explore the menu too much, but would like to go back and see what specials dishes they have. If I was back in the area I would definitely eat here again.

My next stop brought me to Vadelia Ohio, where I walked over to the mini shopping center in North woods Blvd . 24oz draft special for $1.99 and ordered the new house specialty of chorizo, steak, chicken, shrimp and veggies that came in a stone bowl with a side of separated rice and beans. Not sure if most of the fat was from the cheese or chorizo, but it got heavy! Was very tasty. Place was crowded for 2pm and the dishes I saw coming b out looked good. Bartender\waiter was right on top of everything and very friendly. If I go again definitely lighter fare!
