I love Mediterranean food, and I am very picky about the food I get (want it to be true, not some fake stuff). My mom brought us here for my birthday, and I was a bit skeptical at first (first time visit) but I fell in love with their food. Theyh have amazing hummus (made at the restaurant), and their Shawarma is delicious! It is rather small so you might have to sit at the "bar" until a table opens. They do have patio seating in the summer months, definately will be going back!

Love this place! Whenever we have a date night, it always starts with dinner at Stacks. They promote their weekly specials on Facebook, complete with photos and descriptions. We usually know what we'll order before we even arrive.
In order to avoid a long wait, reserve your table at least a couple nights in advance. They are always busy! Their waitstaff is very efficient, but they do not rush you. I've never felt like I was waiting for my meal or my check. I enjoy my appetizer and drink. They don't rush my entree onto the table.
I've never been disappointed in their food. Their appetizers, entrees, drink specials...all delicious. They also have a staggeringly large beer selection.
I'll share a couple of our favorites: Apps-Stacks Sticks with spicy cheese dip or Toasted Ravioli with marinara, Entrees-Steak specials or shrimp specials with their Romano mashed potatoes and asparagus. Truly though, their food is always top-notch!

Nick, our waiter, was a pleasant surprise and a huge change from the normal server we get at Kelsey's. I suspect he is a treasure! Friendly, efficient without being "hovering", he made our normal good experience into a great experience. Prime rib is always the best around - and that include prime rib from Heston and Skip's. Great flavor! Seafood bisque is a favorite and the bread with the honey butter is always a nice touch. The Howie (chocolate cake and glaze) is always good - best to share one. The chocolate layer cake is good too and their coffee is great. If you go on a Saturday, ask for Nick. We will be back and hopefully very, very soon!

The pizza menu covers a lot of variations. Pretty much you name they will build it. We ordered 3 small pizzas off the menu that were about as varied as you could get just because we wanted to try them. They were all excellent. 1 was the "Meatgazer", and the "Heavy Soul " which is barbeque based, and not sure of the 3rd one. But they were pretty much what I would call normal type pies. Nothing very "exotic". Loved all 3 and glad there are leftovers.

Born out of a passion to create a bold, unique and exciting restaurant theme, the Industrial Revolution Eatery & Grille fuses the finest handcrafted comfort cuisine with an atmosphere that pays tribute to the American spirit of Innovation and Greatness. We aim to connect with our guests by telling the story of our nation’s inspirational past while serving them delicious classic foods favored by the American worker. This unique environment, which we call Upscale Industrial, is meant to inspire diners with inspirational stories of both famous and ordinary people who have made great contributions building our country as well as the risks taken that best exemplify Greatness.
We went to Industrial Revolution twice in one week! My family was in from out of town and had never been there so we went for my father-in-law's birthday and then again for my daughter's birthday. My kids love the ambiance, history, and of course, the trains. Our server, Amelia, was exemplary. The restaurant was bustling, full tables, wait staff rushing around, a busy waiting area full of hungry customers, but she was cool, calm, and most importantly chipper. Her upbeat attitude was refreshing even when she had to let us know one of the menu items we were hoping for was all out. In fact, it was her positive attitude that brought us back the second time and this time we got our pot pies. By the way, those were AMAZING (as was all the other food we received). We were lucky to be seated in Amelia's area on both of our trips. Thank you for your amazing service and hospitality!

Don Quijote Restaurant, the heart of Spain in the heart of Valparaiso. We have been ahead of the "Tapas" trend for the last 26 years!! Serving Spanish cuisine since 1985 and featuring over two dozen different tapas, including, Octopus, Galician style meat pastries and the traditional "Tortilla Espanola", Spanish potato omelet. Our menu doesn"t stop there, but goes on to feature an array of tantalizing entrees, from fresh seafood, like Swordfish and Salmon to succulent Castilian style roast Lamb. The food is sure to please and fortify any traveler who might be roming the countryside. The National dish of Spain is the Paella, and we offer four different versions: Marinera, Vegetarian, Black and Valenciana. Delicious Homemade desserts round out our extensive menu. Our decor, complete with street lamps an a fountain, will transport you, to any out door cafe in Spain. "INDIANA'S ONLY SPANISH RESTAURANT"
We stepped in the front door and felt like we were visiting home! A warm friendly greeting and very attentive, but not intrusive service was just the beginning! The food is spectacular. The quality and authentic Spanish cuisine is outstanding. The owners are native Spaniards and are fantastic chefs. We had tappas and everything was fresh and amazingly flavorful. The decor is welcoming and had Spanish been spoken at the tables we would have thought we were in Spain. Complimentary tastes of some of the dishes were offered as well as port after the meal. The owners and staff are truly happy to have you here as their guests. Every moment of the experience was wonderful. The food is amazing. A hidden gem in Northwest Indiana. Don Quijote can stand up the finest Spanish restaurant anywhere. We are looking forward to our next visit here. Soon to be our go to favorite.

Enjoyed yet another delicious lunch with some neighborhood friends yesterday. This was their first visit so we were all looking forward to some delicious Italian cuisine. Our server, Daniel, was very gracious and attentive. We enjoyed such offerings such as Eggplant Parmesan, Veal Marsala and Veal Toscana. The girls loved it! Food was well prepared and plentiful...had to take a box to go. This restaurant is great for special occasions, parties, etc. Would recommend to all.

We visited this place based on a local recommendation. The interior was nicely decorated and they had a nice craft beer selection. All 3 of us ordered different burgers but we didn't realize until they arrived at our table that our server hadn't asked us how we wanted them prepared so they all came well done. My son was happy but my wife normally likes hers medium rare and I like mine medium so not so much for us. On the bright side, the fries were excellent.

Waitress was not paying attention to my very clear instructions and we ended up getting too much food and paying way too much. Very crowded on a Saturday late morning but all of the waitresses seemed frantic, as if they are never this busy!?

The chef knows how to pair pasta and sauces/ragù. Delicious homemade gnocchi with a sausage ragù. Beet salad. Italian wine. Reasonable prices. Will return!
