Excellent little restaurant in the beautiful Valley of the Angels. We have eaten here many times and the food is outstanding and the owners are delightful, remembering us each time we stop in. The pace is low key and there couldn't be a better place to enjoy a nice meal. Valley is a great town to visit with lots of vendors and artifacts. This IS the place to eat when you are there! Enjoy!

Offering a variety in meats and seafood, Factory Steak and Lobster has the best selection when it comes to having a delightful meal with our diverse menu and a selection of wines chosen by our sommelier.
Same country (Honduras), same hotel ownership (Real), same hote chain (Intercontinental), same restaurant name (Factory). You fell at home. Or bothered, or both.
Anyway, you eat here and there, and you make comparison. Eased by the almost same menu.
Average is definitely good. Ambience is fine, maybe a little overly setup, innatural.
Food is excellent (some points above its name-sake in San Pedro).
Service could be told to be fine, if you hadn't the match in San Pedro: and there's no match. Factory San Pedro wins ten to one.
Here you are serviced, there you get pampered.
Here (Tegus) everything works as it should, but is impersonal, there (San Pedro Sula) you get what you expect ... and much more. The mere fact that staff works as a staff in Tegus, and as a team in SP has value. In Tegus you have anonomous waiters, in SP the first thing you get is the welcoming smile of Nicole and the name of the person that will take care of your dinner. Is that the same?
Again, kitchen works better in Tegus. And the place is such that doesn't spread over kitchen smell throughout the place.
It all depends on what you're looking for.

Our Restaurant offers a casual atmosphere where you can enjoy local and international cuisine. At "Las Cuatro Estaciones" you would enjoy of the best buffet service in town with a different option (theme) every day, and also an exquisite variety of “a la carte” courses .
This place is so nice. Good lighting, great food, nice quality-portion-price relation and the attention was awesome, among the nice personnel, Rosalina was specially nice and authentic. I will definitely will repeat when I come back to Tegucigalpa.

I just loved the whole place, it has just been open for a few months, but the chef, this Argentinian lady is really something, creative and with an exellent menu... I only took one star due to the price of the iced tea... it was...MoreHi, I'm glad you enjoyed your visit!!! Our iced tea is not artificial or pre-made. It is a combination of black-tea, green tea, mint, lemon juice, honey and a little sugar .

Food is decent, prices are exaggerated. View is great but parking is limited and a hassle if it's raining, expect to get dirty. I also remember my wedding was at La Cumbre, I was overcharged and service was less than average.

Our business group had the great pleasure of eating here during our trip to Honduras - it was EXCELLENT! The location is so peaceful and serene, with temperatures several degrees cooler than down in the city.
The staff were all very welcoming, friendly, and professional! They were helpful in selecting options from the menu, and our food was delivered very quickly.
The food, quite simply, was EXCELLENT! Everything was so flavorful and perfectly prepared with a great presentation. We were all very impressed and thrilled with our choice!
There is a very small gift shop at the restaurant, but it did have several unique options at very reasonable prices. Two in our group purchased items there.
If you are in Honduras, you simply must make time to eat here! You will not regret it!!

Hierro Barro y Verde Cafe is situated in a quiet street just 100 metres from the main square in picturesque Valle de Angeles. It’s an old building, full of character with outdoor Seating and a garden area. There’s lots of greenery and an eclectic style of interior decor. Owner Criscia – who also speaks excellent English – offers a welcome mix of international and local food with plenty of choice of delicious home-baked cakes as well. Pizzas are made and baked on the premises and there are hamburgers, steak sandwiches and fries on the menu. Drinks include freshly made juices, wines and beers. Value for money is excellent and the quality is very high for the area. Hierro Barro y Verde is a refreshing change from the typical cafes and restaurants that serve the usual local menus. The cafe is open from Thursday to Sunday (inclusive) and there is live music or a disco at the weekend.

In terms of restaurant reviews, please keep in mind that everything is relative. What I would consider 4 stars in New York or Washington, DC is not the same as what I consider 4 stars to be in Valle de Angeles, Honduras. With that caveat in mind, I give this restaurant 4 stars and recommend it to anyone living in or traveling in Honduras.
We were a party of four people--3 Hondurans and one American (myself) in search of the main meal of the day--lunch. We did exercise the normal precaution of ordering cold soft drinks in bottles or cans (i.e. no ice in a glass either) rather than a natural juice drink. This is standard practice when traveling in developing countries. Frankly, we did not exercise caution and did eat the side salads (one type had fresh lettuce and tomato with olive oil and vinegar dressing, and the other had shredded raw cabbage and tomato marinated in vinegar with some mild spices), which is "typical" or traditional. We did not get sick, despite our choice to eat the fresh salads.
We started with an excellent traditional/typical appetizer, a simple "anafre" dip of refried beans and cheese with homemade corn tortilla chips. Delicious! Two people ordered the fried fish, which comes with the head and tail on it to demonstrate its freshness. The fish were meaty and delicious and included a side salad and rice or baked potato--very nice. One person had the pork tenderloin and the other had the beef--both requested these large luncheon meals with the "typical" Honduran sides, which include excellent refried beans (Honduras is famous for its small, red beans), white rice seasoned perfectly, marinated shredded cabbage side salad, marinated tomato, green pepper and onion salsa known as "chismol", and fantastic, ripe (think sweet) plantains with a bit of cream on top--yummy! The corn tortillas were very fresh and homemade. I ordered the beef medium rare. It was prepared perfectly in shish kabob chunks and seasoned nicely. The beef was tasty and not tough, which is important and not always the case in Honduras. We passed on the tempting dessert choices since we were so full.
I can tell you that the ladies' room was very clean and painted creatively. It did not smell. It had regular flush toilets, sinks with running water, soap, and paper towels. These are important details for a good restaurant. In Honduras you always put the used toilet paper in a small trash can provided in each stall. This keeps the pipes from getting clogged. I noticed that there were trash bags, but no trash cans. My Honduran friends explained that the only reason that the trash bags in each stall did not sit properly in trash baskets is that some people in Honduras steal small trash cans/baskets from the bathrooms--sad, but true. So, some restaurants provide only a bag. The restaurant is open air, not air conditioned, which is not surprising. They do have good fans that help keep the flies off of you and your food.
We were very happy that this restaurant was open on a Monday. Many places in Valle de Angeles are closed on Monday, despite the signs that say "Open Today". There were several people dining at La Tasca de Manolo, which in part led us to believe that the place would be good.
La Tasca de Manolo is owned by a very pleasant, Spaniard actually named Pedro, not Manolo but he will answer to the name Manolo. I saw that the menu even offers the famous Spanish seafood, meat and rice dish, paella, if you order in advance. The restaurant is conveniently located at the main entrance to the town, so shopping nearby is very handy. It has several TVs on the walls, so it probably does a great business on the weekends with soccer fans.
While in Valle de Angeles, don't miss a visit to the renovated town square with its red and yellow bandstand and Fountain. If it is open, you should stop in the Spanish colonial church too. We enjoyed some "Michoacanas" which are fresh fruit popsicles from Mexico. We ate them in the shade and even found running water in the square to wash our hands afterwards!
Valle de Angeles is a nice tourist side trip from Tegucigalpa. It is located in the pine tree-covered Mountains of central Honduras. We were lucky to have beautiful Sunshine, blue skies, a nice breeze, and a few clouds after it looked like rain. On our way back to the capital, we stopped by the town of Santa Lucia to see its church which had been recently re-painted a bright white. It looked lovely. The church is always closed on Mondays, so we did not get to see it inside. If you have a chance, go on another day. Again, the weekends are more crowded than the weekdays. I recommend the weekdays, but perhaps not a Monday.

Lovely variety of crepes with consistently great service! It's hard to be in and out of a sit-down restaurant in Tegucigalpa in under an hour but it is totally possible here! They also have excellent sangria - though you cannot get it on Sunday before noon due to local law.

El restaurante en general es bastante acogedor, un menu con varias opciones de carnes, sin embargo me parece un poco caro.
