Love this restaurant. Service is great and remembered us on our return visit. Growing up in HK I am really fussy about Chinese food but this is brilliant, lots of choice and always fresh - go for the buffet every time. Every visit to Eindhoven, we have to visit the Peking - love it and highly recommended.

Usually i dont like mexican restaurants in NL as they usualy don't offer "mexican food" but more like a mix of spanish/tex mex/mexican (sometimes i wonder if the dutch know that Spain & Mexico are 2 different countries!) so i went to this place with very low expectations, Reading the menu i found myself thinking this is just another "mexican non mexican rest" , when the food was served i didn't know what was all that , nothing looks mexican to me but the flavor was sooo mexican! (Except for the Mole, this is not mole just melted chocolate nothing like mole at all!). The prices of some dishes are a little overpriced for what they are but in general good prices/food.

This is high end, gastro-engineered food presented in a modern way. It is a joy to your mouth, your tongue and your tummy.
Each dish is a well thought out work of art that tastes great. Your senses are challenged. Your eyes amaze at the colors and composition. Your nose smells these wonderful aromas. And finally, your tongue get grab and shaken by absolutely amazing tastes. It is really a treat to eat here.

I have eaten here twice. The food - modern European style - and the presentation were a pleasant surprise. The decoration is modern stylish. The service was good. The price not very different from what one pays for worse restaurants in Valkenswaard.
If you happen to be near Dommelen then I can recommend you dine at Broertjes.

Vida Pura is a very special restaurant! With a touch of the Italian, Spanish and Portugese kitchen we serve you a diversity of special plates! One restaurant, three concepts! On the front a lounge restaurant where we serve smaller plates, in the back our a la carte restaurant and our Para Casa concept; great plates to bring home!
It was great to be out with two Portuguese friends who love food and surprise them with a dinner in a Portuguese inspired restaurant.
Location - 7/10
friendliness of staff - 8/10
Ambiance - 8/10
food quality - 8/10
Wine selection - 8/10 (no Portuguese red wines though !)
Overall potential of return - YES

Whilst staying at Centre Parcs, Kempervenen, we discovered this amazing restaurant whilst out cycling. We received a warm welcome from the owner and his team, toured the very impressive new outdoor garden dining area backing onto the river and then went indoors to enjoy one of the best meals I have had during my many visits to the Netherlands. To make the visit even a bigger surprise was that when two people dine the second goes for half price. I had smoked salmon and asparagus to start with olives, home bread and garlic butter followed by beef steak and finally a trio of sweets, which was all superb. At 35 euros for the first person and half price for the second it was unbelievable value for such an amazing meal of such quality.
We went a second time during our stay and again it was superb.
Thanks to all the team, we will be back when we are next in that area of Holland.

They have a menu with dishes in different price classes. Food is good and service as well. In the veranda depending of the groups present it can be quite noisy. Heating is with gasheaters hanging on the ceiling and in our case it was too hot when switched on and too cold when off. In general we had a good experience.

We stayed in the close camping "de Kempervennen" which only offers a limited selection of overpriced restaurants, which close around 8 o' clock anyways. We went to the first village outside the camping to find a restaurant and this one was big, had a small playground for children, had a nice atmosphere and we really enjoyed the food. They have a kids menu as well. The personnel was nice and children-friendly. I breastfed my child at the table without any problems. They gave something to color to my older son to keep him quiet. THe meat was cooked very well.

I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant in January and while it was cold and rainy outside I found the staff and atmosphere warm and inviting. I had never eaten in a restaurant this style. Essentially they keep bringing you small plates that you order one at a time until you have had your fill. The menu offers a wide variety of food excellently prepared. The dishes include everything from duck, lamb, beef, chicken, and seafood. The chefs took great pride in quality and presentation. Of the many restaurants that I visited on this trip this was my favorite.

We came in on Sunday noon, not super crowded. Most of the customers with family, kids and pets,( even horses, there are table that you can sit with your horses and dogs) there is a long mini train rack with mini village decors on top of the wall around the whole restaurant dining area, the other side of my he dining area has a beautiful mini toy horse with a small candy and toys table, that can definitely attracts kids interest and attention, waitress were all so friendly taking, menu with many Dutch style pancakes. Great size and delicious! It would be a great choice of a energetic Sunday lunch to boost your whole day!
