Located at mile marker 147.4 On Route 3 in Twin Mountain, NH.
We happened upon this restaurant last year while visiting the Mt Washington area. It was a non-descript diner that had lots of cars in the parking lot which intrigued us. (You can read my previous excellent review on Trip Advisor.)
This year we specifically planned on breakfast there, and it was a godsend after our hugely disappointing dinner experience at Mt Washington Resort and Dining Room the night before.
As before, you hardly notice it from the road except for the congested traffic in their parking lot. Inside, it was humming with a continuing flow of both locals and tourists. The revolving ladies at the counter all knew each other, there were local regulars of all kinds, and a large middle-Eastern family was accommodated within a blink of an eye. Everyone blended transparently.
The family and staff who run Munroe’s have been there forever and it’s a marvelously smooth operation. Service was impeccable.
As I said before, the menu has some unique offerings (the cheese grits were the best; the Redneck Benny the most unique), but you can order any other combination you want to concoct. Both of our breakfast meals that we chose were superb, so feel free to select anything and enjoy.
And, prices are amazingly modest for the quality and quantity of the food they serve. Don’t drive pass it!

Lauded as one of the resort's most popular restaurants, the AAA Four Diamond Bretton Arms Dining Room serves breakfast and dinner seasonally. The dinner menu at the Arms uses the freshest and finest locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Our creatively prepared traditional cuisine is complemented by cutting-edge techniques, allowing the quality of the ingredients to come out. Choose from the award-winning wine list, including more than 40 selections available by the glass. If your group is a bit larger, two newly-renovated private dining rooms are available, with seating for up to 10 guests. The dress code for the Arms is resort casual. The young guests' menu is not your typical mac and cheese or PB&J, but a reflection of the adult menu and experience.
We had breakfast this morning at the Bretton Arms Inn, part of the Mount Washington Hotel, dare I say the food was superior to any of the restaurants in the Mount Washington Resort! Moreover the ambience, and decor exceeded expectations. Kayla our server was accommodating and thoughtful. Kudos for this gem.

What a find! This very popular restaurant offers top notch cuisine. It is extremely popular so advance booking is recommended. We did not book in advance and were squeezed in to eat at the bar, but only after waiting for an hour. Its was worth it. It closes out of season (last day this year is November 3rd) which is a great shame! Staff were very friendly and almost every menu item was, or could be made, gluten free. Also very good for vegetarians and vegans.

So happy that we found this cozy, rustic eatery! We initially went in for pizza and enjoyed the place so much that we went back for lunch another day. The food was fresh, delicious and selections went beyond what you would expect at a "pizza place". Well worth a stop...

The breakfast buffet was amazing! Blueberry sausages with made to order omelettes.
Our server kept my cranberry/orange juice full and the coffee never ended.
New England biscuits and gravy and french toast-my goodness there was no lunch that day.
Elegant setting with great server from New Hampshire.

Went on a Thursday with my wife and friends. Sat in the downstairs bar area. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Place was clean and comfortable. We had wings and a spicy pizza. Both were great. Will add this to one of our regular stops going forward. Highly recommend it. Not open for lunch though.

The Pizza Pub has great food, we've been coming here for over 20 years. They are a seasonal restaurant that's open from the beginning of July through September. We definitely recommend them when you're in Twin Mountain, the restaurant is a fun place to eat! They're also very accommodating if you have kids with you.

Found on the patio level of Omni Mount Washington Resort, this popular pub and steakhouse integrates fresh local and regional products with the finest ingredients available. Sit by the fire on a cool evening or enjoy al fresco dining in the warmer months. Lunch and dinner are served daily.
Our dining experience was terrific! The menu has some excellent variety. I had a fabulous NY Strip cooked perfectly and my wife had a maple planked salmon that melted in my mouth. Yes we traded pieces. Our server named Elena was perfectly attentive. Warning you will spend some money but plan on it and be happy.

This food truck offers more than just deep fried. Open for breakfast, with sandwich offerings and the usual lunch/supper menu. Quality is great!

Part of a motel. No sign for restaurant. We finally found it just before 8 pm and it was closed. You may want to make a reservation.
