At the northern reaches of the Mississippi, Tunica is one of the South’s leading entertainment destinations. Just 20 minutes from Memphis, it’s home to nine casino resorts and three championship-level golf courses, as well as Tunica RiverPark, the Tunica Queen Riverboat and the soon-to-open Gateway to the Blues Museum. Tunica is a popular starting point for the Mississippi Blues Trail, a scenic highway that winds through Mississippi and takes you to historic blues markers and landmarks.

We stopped on a Sunday around 1130a after a long night and late morning at the Tunica casinos. We were thinking breakfast, but discovered the Sunday buffet as we were seated. Fried chicken, beef pot roast, and chicken casserole led the way, with delightful green beans, yams, collards, mac & cheese, and countless other sides. The food was delicious and great value. Service was friendly and helpful. The Blue & White is a true roadside classic, and well worth a stop.

We are from Seattle and are no strangers to Starbucks. This was was the worst experience ever. Barista acted put off that a latte with 2% no foam and 3 raw sugars was a complicated order. Drinks tasted watery, she confused the 2 drink orders (combining it into one drink!). Long line and even the other barista was shocked at how rude the lead barista was acting. (visited on the morning of 9/26)

We stopped here after a doctor appointment before a 4 hour drive home. We arrived at about 4:30 on a Wednesday.
This place oozes with history! The building started as a plantation commissary. In its' current life, it started as a bar, and morphed into a bar and restaurant. It is quaint, friendly and inviting.
We started with the FRIED GREEN TOMATO. It is NOT over rated! The slices were huge! Perfectly breaded, seasoned and fried. Our 1 year old granddaughter was with us, and she preferred these over their excellent French Fries!
My wife had the small catfish plate, which was huge! Very good fish, nicely seasoned and fried perfectly. I tried the BBQ ribs. 4 Ribs was almost more than I could finish! The ribs were so good as served, I never tried the sauce. We ordered a chicken finger for our granddaughter, who is somewhat picky about chicken. She almost ate the whole thing!!! She had a huge meal!
While not cheap, prices are reasonable, the service was great and the food was far better than anything you will find at the casino restaurants!!
WE WILL BE BACK!

It’s not just a burger, it’s a commitment, at this 24-hour spot with a friendly, relaxed environment. 8 oz. Burger Bar is a restaurant where you can customize your own burger with a variety of toppings, sauces and cheeses, along with signature side dishes and old-fashioned shakes & malts. This is the spot for snacks like quesadilla, buffalo hot wings, chicken tenders, pizza & many other items. We also serve a limited breakfast menu all day. Stop in and enjoy this Horseshoe Tunica casual dining spot on your next visit!
We grabbed this after a night in the Casino. The servings are sizable & it is rather greasy so you might want to consider sharing portions. If you do that, it isn't pricey at all & it does serve tasty food.

Harrahs casino
Absolutely horrible service and experience. Had a private room booked that had no air. Forty five minutes before our order was taken. Two hours before we received our dinner. Out of the dessert order, but still left it on the bill. Fried oysters were inedible. Dinner was average, and way below average for the price. Don't waste your time or money. Just horrible all the way around.

The food at this buffet is better than average with plenty of choices for the price. The service was excellent with a server who was right there when you needed something and kept the plates cleared. There was also some kind of supervisor going around keeping an eye on things.

Chicago Steakhouse is the premiere dining destination in Tunica Mississippi. Recipient of the prestigious DiRoNa award, one of only five restaurants in the state of Mississippi. Award of excellence wine list from wine spectator.
This was a frustrating evening for us. We spent time making our choices and when the waiter came twenty minutes later to take our orders, he informed us that what we wanted was not available. Also, he never told us about the evening's specials. So another twenty minutes went by before our orders were placed as the waiter was busy with a large party in an adjoining private room.
When our steaks finally arrived they were not hot off the grill, but only warm. They were tasty. The best item on the menu was the lobster bisque.

My husband and I ate there on Saturday, 2/4/17.
The good: We arrived just before 6:00 p.m. and got the Early Bird Special (soup or salad, entrée, and dessert for one price). The flavor of the food was excellent. I had the cod & shrimp (1 shrimp) with crème brulée for dessert. My husband had the beef kabob & shrimp (2 shrimp) with bread pudding for dessert. Everything tasted great and the beef was very tender. The bread pudding was heavenly!
The bad: We sat in the bar area because we didn’t have reservations. The host brought us our menus within a few minutes and the waiter/bartender took our drink and food orders rather promptly. That’s when the speedy service ended. 45 minutes after we sat down, we finally got our salads and rolls. The entrees came out about 25 minutes later. We asked for our desserts as soon as he brought the entrees because we had to be at a concert by 8:00 and we weren’t willing to take any chances. The desserts came out right as we were finishing our entrees, mercifully. Our waiter/bartender knew we were in a hurry but didn’t bring us a bill. We had to go stand up at the bar and attempt to get his attention so that we could pay. We were not the only ones with this problem. Everyone who we observed, and with whom we spoke, had terrible problems with the speed of service, as well. And some of those people were seated in the restaurant, not just in the bar area. So, the service apparently wasn’t any better in the restaurant itself.
It took us 2 solid hours in the restaurant, and that’s with us steadily prompting the waiter. Rumor has it that they were severely understaffed. If you’re not in a hurry and don’t mind a wait, it’s a great place to eat. If you don’t have much time or patience, go to the buffet instead. Their line was longer, but it moved a LOT faster.

Enjoy delicious all-you-can-eat salads, entrees, sides, desserts and more daily.
Ate here on weekend enjoying the Seafood buffet. Crab legs, fried shrimp, scallops on the half shell (awesome) peel and eat shrimp, prime rib and sausage. Crab legs were hot and good, fried shrimp was good, Scallops on half shell were very good! Wife ate Prime rib and said it was ok. Soup (gumbo) salad and dessert were great. Pit boss comped meal so it made it even better. Comps were very easy to get, they really want to make you feel special.
