Mayan ruins tower over the sea in Tulum. The formerly walled city was one of the last to be built by the Mayans, and its archaeological sites are incredibly well preserved. Take a break from the beach to visit El Castillo, the Temple of the Frescoes, and the Temple of the Descending God. Explore an underground river under a canopy of stalactites in the sacred caverns of LabnaHa Eco Park, or dive into Cenote Dos Ojos to snorkel inside of caves in the middle of a forest.

Azafran is by far my favorite breakfast spot in Tulum. I love the staff, the garden is perfectly picturesque, the food is delicious and prices are awesome. My go to is their hangover special, with an extra side of the homemade bread and marmalade. I've been here many times and have always had a wonderful experience, I even left my purse once and the waitresses were kind enough to keep it until I was able to return and pick it up. All family and friends I've taken here have loved it just as much! Now with free wifi if you need

We stayed in Tulum 3 days and ate here 2 evenings. It is often hard to find real vegetable based Vegan food vs just noodles with a few shreads of vegetables kind of thing. This place is quite a relaxed place. We are in our 60's and felt a little on the old end of the age scale here, but we loved their food. Everything we ordered was very good, and full of vegetables as we were looking for. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you're a vegan eating in Tulum

Raw Love is a raw vegan restaurant located within the premises of the Hotel Ahau Tulum. The whole menu is vegan (except for honey), gluten free, sugar free, all the dishes are prepared with much care, love and intention in order to keep and maximize the nutritional value of each meal. The dining area is right on the sand, on a cozy setting, just steps away from the beach and is surrounded by palms, hammocks and swings. Very casual and... no shoes required.
Wow what robbery! We ordered 2 acai bowls (with peanut butter), and 2 bottles of water. The tab was $50 (usd) with tip! The server took forever to notice us, lost our order (40 minute wait), and then didn't acknowledge or apologize for it. We know he lost it, when multiple customers that ordered after us received their food in minutes. The bowls were hardly passable, the acai was soup, there was no granola (when according to the menu it should be be included), and minimal fruit toppings. I live in Austin, and there is a spot I frequent often that's located downtown, half the price, and better by a military mile! The rent and cost of ingredients is without a doubt more expensive in Austin and yet it's more affordable. Also, as if the exorbitant prices weren't enough, they also screw you on the conversion rates from usd to pesos. The fact they can hide behind they're "conscious"morales, and sacred geometry art, just to manipulate customers into thinking they're doing a good cause is horrendous. Don't waste your time or money on this sorry excuse for a "conscious" eating choice.

Kitchen Table is a restaurant located on the jungle side of the Tulum - Bocapaila beach road (km mark 1.5) at the Tulum National Park. A wooden grill, a bar and ice boxes full of local fresh produce are the only ingredients we need to create delicious food and cocktails. We do it because we love it <3
I had been wanting to come here for two years since I first read about it. Finally got my chance. Made a reservation for 6pm for 8 people. Had our table ready and waiting. What an atmosphere, you are in the jungle!
We had deviled avocado for an appetizer. Everyone loved their food. I had the flank steak which was cooked perfectly. The potato salad that came with some of the entrees was amazing. We all tried each other’s plates. One was as good as the next. I will be back! Service was great. The drinks were very good. I only had beer but everyone else loved their cocktails. When it got dark out the ambience was incredible. I didn’t want to leave. Best meal I had in Tulum. Thank you staff of Kitchen Table!

Very nice people who work there. Excellent food and so reasonably priced. We had 4 people and all had tacos. Our bill was less than $20. It is busy, we went around noon on a Sunday and it was packed. I see why because the food is so good. Go early to experience all the choices they offer. We had pork and vegetarian tacos. That was all that was left and they were yummy.

We used TripAdvisor to find this restaurant and were delighted with it. We had the smoked Marlin and the shrimp burritos and they were delicious. My husband had the shrimp salad and that was great too! They take attention to detail here with great presentation. This is a small restaurant right off the main drag in downtown Tulum. We would definitely recommend it for the food and hospitality!
