I’ve been here multiple times with family and friends. It has a great small town mom and pop environment. The service is fast and friendly. Everything I’ve tried on the menu has been good including but not limited to: bbq, cheeseburgers, grilled chicken salad, etc. The prices are incredibly reasonable. Please be aware that it is cash only. We will continue to come back to support this restaurant.

We have been having dinner at Pellegrion's for years, and we have never, ever been disappointed. In an area like Troutman, where good restaurants are scant, Pellegrino's is an exceptional standout. They have a well-rounded menu, meaning you have several items to select: pizza, pasta, warps, salads and delicious Italian veal dishes, etc. Believe me, there's something for everyone, including a Kids' Menu, and a rather decent (and thoughtful) wine list. Pricing is quite reasonable. Service is usually very good, even when they're busy. Parking is also convenient.
Pallegrion's is a local, family-run operation well worth supporting.

I came here today to get lunch to go. I got the two footlong hotdogs. The service was extremely good and I only had to wait a few minutes. Both of the hotdogs cost me like $5 altogether. It was busy, but it seemed like they were getting the food out really fast. The hotdogs were really good too and you can customize them to have whatever you want on them. They also have a wide menu selection and all of it is really cheap. Definitely recommend going here for something quick and cheap!

I used to live just east of Pittsburgh and I remember Sheetz quite well First one I went to was in Connellsville,Pa and it became a mandatory stop on the way back from horse shows. They were always good, friendly and quick place to grab something tasty.
Fast forward more years than I care to think about and Sheetz has been moving slowly south to the point that they opened one in Statesville a couple of years ago. Was very excited when this occurred but found it not as good as the ones I remembered in Pgh. Another one opened in Statesville about a month ago and they have a habit of loosing you order.
Somewhere in between, this one opened and while I have bought gas here several times, never tried them out for lunch.
Today I had to pick up something in Troutman and had intended to have lunch at another Tortuga but they were closed and the building for sale. Note on the door indicated the owner had been in a bad car accident and I pray for his recovery.
Plan B was the Mexican diner down the road at I-77 called Chips and Salsa. Closed also and too bad. While a hole in the wall, a very good hole in the wall.
By this time I'm across I-77 from Sheetz so let's see if this one is any better and it was.
Walked in and ordered 2 Brats with Spicy Mustard and Sauerkraut, same thing I ordered last month at the other Sheetz that lost my order, but this time, 8 minutes later i had my order.
Decided to eat in so I could dine in quiet and catch up on the news on the TV. Made for a relaxing dining experience.
The Brats were great. Not overcooked, nice and hot and the Spicy Mustard was exactly that ... Very Spicy.
Good lunch and I would recommend to anyone coming down I-77 at Exit 42. Can say the same for the others in the area but may be will get better over time. I hope so.

This is a quaint place (large two story house) with wrap around porch. We like to eat here after Church on Sundays, but they can accommodate all kinds of audiences - rehearsal dinner, graduation parties, bridal showers, etc. The staff is very accommodating and the food is always consistent with a variety of items to choose from like Fried Chicken (yum!), lots of veggies and homemade desserts. They also have a salad bar and weekday specials like meatloaf, chicken pot pie. It's very homey and the staff is wonderful. If you are in the Troutman area, this is a great option if you like "country" cookin'.

This is one of the least busy Subways in the area so service is quick.
They make a good sandwich, friendly staff and they are very generous with the meat.
Kind of hard to find unless you pay attention to the signs because they are kind of in the back of a parking lot shared with other business but worth the effort to find.

There have been a number of restaurants/cafes and other businesses over the years in this location and I at a couple of them. Was never totally impressed although some of them and some very good items.
Was curious when this place opened but never got around to trying it till recently
My mistake.
You walk in to a very open and refreshing atmosphere.. You don't have to dine it because they have a very nice Patio but watching traffic on Hwy's 21 and 115 is not my thing.
The restaurant is very clean and the Staff is outstanding.
Chose to have one of the highlighted specials of the day which was one of my favorites, the Reuben on Rye . The Sauerkraut on the sandwich was great with the perfect balance of acidity and the crunch factor for texture.
One of the best I have ever had.
Did not try the desert portion but I have two experts in Marietta GA aged 4 and 2 and the next time they area up, will get their opinions.
Meanwhile, great spot for lunch with great food and service. Highly recommend

This location was one of my favorites back when it was called Tortuga. Great Kobe Beef and overall, simple fare taken to a new level.
Unfortunately the owner was in an accident and the restaurant went to another venue.
I was hoping it would reopen with an equally creative menu and looks like I got my wish.
Orobi started out as a Coffee Roaster on the West Side of Statesville but moved into this location a little over a month ago with more than just Roasted Coffee Beans on the menu.
Ever since they opened, they have been on my radar as places to try. Today was the day.
Walked in about 12:30 and was given the option to sit anywhere I wanted.
Picked my spot and made myself to home.
You order from the counter so I walked up and to place my order. Granted I am a neophyte of Colombian Cuisine but the Perro Colombino seemed interesting. That translates to Colombian Hot Dogs and I had no idea how that was different from the Hot Dogs I am used to.
Think Pineapple.
Odd combination but that is what I ordered. Thing Hot Dogs smothered in Pineapple infused crushed potato chips and other condiments and you get the idea.
I took the first bit with trepidation and took a moment to process. Good but different so a second bit. By the third bite, I was a fan.
To go with it, they have vegetable smoothies and I had one that was a combination of apple, celery, carrot and mango and it was great.
Service was excellent and they maintained a large amount of the relaxed ambiance of Tortuga that I was right at home
One final point is that I ordered two orders of Flan to go to give to my coworkers. Can not comment because in a matter or minutes, both orders were totally gone.

China Garden III
Is your everyday Chinese take out with nearly 100 items on the menu. This location is in Troutman NC which is a very very small Town .
I was in the area and I decided to stop for lunch I got the chicken Lo Mein( Love my pasta) one of the many lunch specials for $4.50 thats a pretty good price it comes with your choice of Pork or white rice , Wonton or egg drop soup ( which never came) and was not offered . My partner who is a wing lover just wanted a snack so he got the Buffalo wing appetizer ( 10) for $4.50 he said that was more than he wanted and he offered me a wing the menu says hot spicy was to much sauce could have been half as much.
The food was ok the heat in the place was terrible no a/c that I felt so it made a dine in a take out next time.
This place is easy to find and the prices are good the heat was hotter inside than out would be good in the winter !!
Will stop again if in the area and ask about the A/c and try another dish
Just ok for me could be much better!

Very good food at a small restaurant in a smaller town. Huge variety of Asian selections that are very tasty. And yes, the sushi is good. "Valli", the sushi chef, takes great care in the presentation and dishes up some artful edible offerings. Although much of the sushi roll menu is oriented towards fried and cooked offerings, there are enough raw sushi rolls to make for some good choices. And if you want something special, he will make it for you. Very pleasant waitstaff and a homey atmosphere in a family-run place. Not too far off I-77.
