Having been to Naples Italy I can assure you that this place In Torrington is truly special and right on the money. Sure, it’s a bit on the pricey side but that’s what it takes to be fabulous. Everything is fresh and delicious. I wish it had tableside ordering but I’ve learned to accept their style because I’ve never been disappointed. Be sure to try the monthly specials !!

My wife and I went to the Edison Grill for dinner, after being ignored in another relatively nearby tavern. After a poor experience down the road, our mood was instantly changed at Edison's with a warm friendly greeting, and immediate professional service. A very enjoyable evening, with wonderful food and service. We have been back several times, and would recommend this place highly.

Wonderful restaurant with terrific food. It may be located in a mall (Stop and Shop Plaza), but it has a very festive atmosphere and is always crowded! The menu features Thai (and Laotian) specialties. The best offerings are the spicy curries, sautéed noodles, and some seafood items such as the Lao fish pocket and the Thai hot pot. The duck numbers are good too! BYO is welcomed in this very friendly place.

Places like this are why I really appreciate review sites like Trip Advisor. Poking around flea markets and antique stores, we were in Torrington around lunch time. Always up for a good deli, I found Carbones and the many excellent reviews. It's tucked away in a residential area and we would never have come across it otherwise.
So many grinder choices but I balked at the $12-15 price range for the 12 inch grinders. No worries...it was as thick as my thigh with what had to be a pound of meat and a full loaf of Italian bread. They have an 8" and 15" option as well. The 12" could easily feed 3 people. There are several salad choices and hot prepared food but we were all about the grinders. It's about 40 miles from home but I can see going back in the future. Enjoy!

A small, very nice restaurant off the beaten path in downtown Torrington. The staff was very pleasant and the food was outstanding. The menu is small so what they do they do well. Pork shanks were A++. Everything fresh. Find this place and GO!!

We lived in Houston and Dallas for 13+ years so we have a good idea of what good Mexican food is like. Dos Amigos is the best we've found in CT. We've eaten there at least a dozen times and have always enjoyed the service and the food. We've also taken many friends there who have agreed that it's the best Mexican they've found. Try their queso dip as an appetizer. Tacos, Flautas and Burritos are our favorite and all have been good. Our meat preference is their grilled chicken but it's all good.

The place looks rundown and unkept, but the deli selections are good. Nice, big sandwiches, salads, and hot plates to go. I love their Italian combo and chicken florentine. It's a market, so other necessities can be picked up as well. Great single serving desserts as well.
