We were not sure what to expect on a Sunday night when we were the only reservation; however, it became busier as the night progressed. We had the filet mignon which was nicely prepared and we asked for our vegetables to be steamed. The wine list was well thought out and our red blend was worth having again on another occasion. Choices are limited in Torrey but this would be on the top of our list.

We stopped here on the way out of town - on our way to Bryce Canyon. The location couldn't be better as it is right on the turn off to Bryce. This place offers all of the different types of drinks you can get at...MoreThank you for your kind review. I am so glad you found our store and even happier that you enjoyed your drinks and breakfast sandwiches at a fair price. Do stop in again if you are in the area!

We recently passed by the Mesa Farm Market and very much enjoyed a few food purchases and coffee tried here during our drive between Torrey and Moab, Utah.
This is a roadside farm market located at mile marker 102 on Highway 24, east of Capital Reef National Park. The shop is open from 7am to 7pm daily between March to November each year and is a convenient place to stop for those traveling between Capital Reef and Arches/Canyonlands Parks.
Mesa Farm Market is an organic farm where fresh and healthy foods are produced for customers including salads, breads, yoghurts, cheeses. You can also pick up good coffee as well.
During our visit we had a nice cinnamon roll, homemade yoghurt and ended up buying a slice of homemade Tomme cheese which we enjoyed during a couple of hikes during the following days. The proprietor offered several cheeses to taste and was enjoyable to talk with.
Note: There are tables for you to enjoy your purchased food and drinks or they are happy to bag your items for take away as well.
In the end, we very much enjoyed our stop at Mesa Farm Market and would purposely stop here again if traveling along Highway 24 in southern Utah. This is an easily recommendable stop for foodie travellers.

The drive to the homestead was absolutely beautiful. You can purchase individual homemade apple pie and cherry pie. I believe there was one more choice but we chose the apple and cherry. They were tasty but I thought a little bit expensive. They also had aprons and a few other gifts you could purchase.

Cowboy Bar with live country music Friday through Saturday. Saddle barstools, inviting dance floor and great steaks, including a buffalo ribeye. Darts alley, pool tables, patio and Cowboy shop featuring boots, hats and western saddles.
The test of true excellence is consistently performing above and beyond, time and time again. For the second time I visited The Saddlery Cowboy Bar and Steakhouse and was again, very impressed by the high caliber of the meal, the atmosphere and the service that was provided. I HIGHLY recommend this establishment to anyone who finds themselves in the area of Torrey, UT, or who will be in this area in the future. Look it up, you'll be glad you did! We were fortunate enough to be in the care of the same amazing server (Haylee) that helped us during our last visit. She still wears the name tag, Tealer?, but don't let that confuse you! Her name actually is Haylee and she will make sure that your experience at The Saddlery Cowboy Bar is an enjoyable one!

A little bit of everything. Groceries, fishing supplies, a deli and laundromat rolled into one. Looked to be a good selection of foodstuffs and the requisite tourist trinkets. We had breakfast which was fast and filling. Pastries and homemade breads looked delicious. Four tables to eat in, or weather permitting sit outside. By far the best discovery was the nine dollar boxed lunch. Sandwich, chips, fruit, cookie and a mini bottle of water. Couldn't beat that deal. Don't be scared off by the blinky lights outside. Friendly service, warm and inviting inside.

If you go with someone, order one each of the Mushroom Burger and the Blue Bacon Burger and have them cut both in half and share. They are the best burgers and fries are great. The Blue Bacon Burger is extremely rich. The blue cheese is extremely salty and sharp. Delicious but hard to hike any trails in Capital Reef after eating here.

Before heading to our motel at the Capitol Reef Resort, we visited one of my old haunts, the Rim Rock Restaurant & Inn.
When I first visited Capitol Reef back in the early 80’s, the Rimrock was the only place where you could get a hot meal. It was run by some crazy blond Hungarian B-movie star who had been in a lot of cheesy horror films. She was married to the movie mogul Al Adamsen who was killed a few years back by his contractor and buried under the hot tub at his home in Death Valley. Life imitating art, I guess.
The place had undergone a major face lift and was hopping on the Saturday evening of Labor Day weekend. But we managed to get a table on the back patio with stunning views of Capitol Reef to the east. The new owner came by and we talked about the old days. He had actually worked there when the screen crazies owned the joint and he had some wild stories. The dinner was amazing. Jimmy had fresh trout and local asparagus. And they had an excellent selection of scotch, so I had a few wee drams of Balvenie.

It's definitely a Western themed steakhouse- no doubt about that. The portions are large and the staff is very friendly. The food is nothing fancy or inspiring, but it's decent. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We are glad you chose to dine with us and hope you had a good experience with us. Hope to see you again in the future. Broken Spur

This place is under new owner/management since Oct 2011. It is in the old Chillzz building, 156 E. Main Street Torrey Ut 84775. We have Italian and american food, open year around, sit down service, salad bar and a full service liquor bar. Located across the street from slackers. All Burgers are made fresh, with a 1/3lb of meat and fresh toppings, no processed cheese used on anything we make. All fresh ingredients go into making our pizza's and pasta dishes as well. Come on in and give us a try!
This is a casual, family-friendly cafe that has a nice assortment of burgers, sandwiches and pizzas. We enjoyed a patty melt on flavorful rye bread with lots of grilled onions, and a barbecue bacon burger on an artisan bun. The house standard is to serve burgers ‘medium.’ The burgers come with either regular waffle fries or sweet potato waffle fries. Don’t ask to substitute salad for the fries: no substitutions permitted! The salad bar is a disappointment and hardly worth the one-visit cost of $6. The service here is casual, too. You can expect to wait for drink refills.
