The brew pub serves craft beers by our brewmaster, and the restaurant serves Southern BBQ with house-made sauces and sides. We are now serving wine from Cline Cellars and Jacuzzi Family Vineyards.
We were planning dinner elsewhere, and just wandered in for a beer. Wow. Their beers are outstanding, including my Frail Sister pilsner. Beer snobs may turn up their noses, but pilsner is hard to nail: a good one has subtle and complex flavors, while staying light and refreshing. We ended up eating here, and what a feast! Dill pickle chips, fried okra, burnt ends, chicken sandwich and Ore Cart sandwich (I heard "Ork Heart" and thought, "wow, hardcore!") were all to die for. Four fabulous house-made BBQ sauces complement everything, and allow you to mix your exact level of hot/spice. Our server was busy but took excellent care of us.

This restaurant forms part of the Mizpah Hotel which reopened in Oct 2011 following a year of renovation.
Located in the Mizpah Hotel, the Pittman Cafe is the diner in the back when it's busy or the bar area when it isn't busy. We had our lunch at the bar. Good quality ingredients and attention to presentation were like a bonus to just good tasty food. While there we wandered in the lounge and enjoyed looking at historic pictures and artifacts. All our questions were patiently answered. The staff is proud of the Mizpah and its place in gold rush history.

I drive through Tonopah about once a month and decided to give Hometown Pizza a try. Called and ordered pizza while 10 miles out of town and it was just coming out of the oven as I walked in to pick it up. Very friendly staff and pizza was very good with lots of toppings. Staff friendly too.

Visited here 23 June 2017. Last ate at the El Marques restaurant in 2008. Not much has changed, the restaurant is still rather basic, but the food is excellent. Serving staff were very busy, but we were still attended to very well. I had a large plate of chicken fajitas, refried beans and rice, plus a tortilla and a couple of sodas. Meal was delicious. Cost was about $12 excl. tax and tip.

The Stage Stop was recommended to us by the local BLM guy. It's in a casino, so you have to walk through a cigarette cloud before you get to the rather clean air of the restaurant (how do these gamblers stay alive breathing that stuff?!?!). The restaurant is a nice one, we both had an ortega burger with fries and cole slaw. The wait staff was nice and professional.

The whole place was so full of cigarette smoke the food seemed to taste of it as well. The building needs some sort of fresh air ventilation or a division between old nasty casino and restaurant. It felt very dirty. We won't go back.

Stopped here for a quick lunch on our way to Las Vegas. I had a tuna sandwich which came on grilled sourdough bread and was surprisingly delicious. Fries were light and crispy. Sandwich makes my mouth water just remembering it. Will definitely stop here again if we come this way.

Much better coffee than one would expect in Tonopah. They even have a drive through! Tried a mocha and a latte, both were excellent. Prices similar to a Starbucks. Highly recommend.

Found this nice little Italian place right next to the Mizpah casino. Grabbed some calzones there. They were stuffed full of cheese and what ever you want inside. Subs and pizza looked great. Johnny will hook you up! Nice to have something open late since not a lot of options in this town. Nice booths!

Let's face it, Subway is a chain. Of course even chains have their own brand of effort to satisfy their customers. The Subway here in Tonopah, Nevada seems to try just a little bit harder. The fellows making sandwiches are friendly and make the extra effort to present a comfortable experience. They joke with the customers and give what extra they are allowed and then some. i.e. extra sauce on meatball sandwiches etc. I recommend this Subway should the traveler be in the area.
