Nice semi al fresco dining on the coastal sea. The seafood is fresh and the environment quite welcoming. The band in the background provides entertainment whilst you crack away at your chilli crab.
I thought the sauces were underwhelming and made the seafood dishes a little bland. Could do with improvement in this area.

Deliciously Manado.. Serving the Best Satay, Asian & Local dish, Kampoeng chicken, Seafood, Steaks, Vegetarian dishes, and Many more with Passion and Smiles in a Casual & Relaxed atmosphere, yet Prices so Affordable you'd have to try us, and you'll surely be Satisfied. Welcome. We are conveniently located at Jalan Piere Tendean Boulevard nearby MTC mall, in front of Megamas Complex.
Ate dinner here a few days ago. The prices are pretty reasonable and nice to have an aircon/non-smoking section. The sate ayam was delicious, tender, but slightly pink while the sate kambing was quite chewy which was disappointing (especially considering it was twice the price of the chicken). In any case, the taste was good, service reasonable and clean, centrally located restaurant.

We tried as restaurant came highly recommended. Of course they have live fresh seafood and variety was good. Sadly the chefs cannot do justice to what was available. We ordered large prawns which were overcooked. We chose grouper fish in spicy curry thinking it’s Indonesia and let’s go “local”. Fish was fresh but again the broth was bland and doesn’t do justice to such a good fish ! We selected the mantis shrimps and were looking forward this delicacy with garlic. Again it’s badly cooked, not understanding the nature of such shrimps. Sadly I feel the cooks treated and prepared these fresh seafood as they do with ordinary frozen seafood ! The tempura calamari batter was so thick we gave up. So were the shrimp balls - too salty and full of flour ! Wise we didn’t order the lobster as we wanted to see how they prepare the ones we selected before we fork out big money for the lobster. Final bill was much more than what we paid for a good restaurant and not one dish was good.

We are the most famous and the oldest coffee shop in North Sulawesi, Indonesia. Our coffee and chinese buns are very popular among Manadonese (the tribe of North Sulawesi and tourists. We process the coffee beans and serve as a boiled black or milk coffee
My driver suggested us to take a break here before continue back to Manado. When we come in the afternoon there was no table available and we must wait around 10 minutes. We only ordered coffee and pao and it was very delicious. The price was reasonable. Service was good. The atmosphere of Chinese traditional is another reason to enjoy the coffee and pao.

Green Garden has a huge menu card, but it seems that the most common dish is “finished”. Otherwise a restaurant with good food and too relaxed service.
The huge hall downstairs is not inviting, but upstairs you sit outside or partly outside with a breeze and nice view to the green surroundings and the volcano. At both visits we were almost alone in the huge restaurant.
We were here for a lunch and a dinner. At lunch the noodle-dish came fast, at evening the grilled pork and seafood-platter took more than 45 minutes to arrive. All dishes were good, though the pork somewhat fat.
At lunch several of our first choices were “finished” though it was early in the day.
Even worse with the wine. The card has some 25 wines, but it slowly turned out, that all but one was “finished”!! No white (as we wanted), no rosé and only one single red.
Service is poor or at least inconsistent. It is friendly enough but they seem somewhat unfocused, when you want to order and never come back to take the dirty service (OK, I know it’s a Chinese restaurant, but still) or ask if you want more to drink, some desert or pay the bill.
English is only poorly spoken/understood.
An extra service charge of 10 % is poorly visible on the menu card. Credit card accepted.

It's just a pity that this restaurant is so out of the way, because the food is great and well prepared. We ordered grilled oci fish, which came with spicy green tomato salad, the papaya flower salad and the kang kung. The restaurant is casual and affordable. The staff spoke English and were friendly.

It is nice to have a place to eat in great ambience, especially when you are in someplace distant like tondano. It feels like nuri's in Bali, makes it a perfect place to hang out and chills out the day.. The taste is good also.. It is not the best out in Indonesia, but it definitely is the best ribs in town..
