It's true: you can surf in Canada. And Tofino, on the west coast of Vancouver Island, is where you'll find exceptional surfing, Canadian-style. Busiest in summer, Tofino also fills up in winter when storm watchers descend upon this tiny town. Stay at an upscale inn and enjoy the town that affectionately calls itself The Tree Loving Capital of the World.

Resort guests, visitors to Tofino and local residents are welcomed in the Great Room and during the summer on the SandBar Bistro patio. Long Beach Lodge Resort offers inspired cuisine with inspiring Pacific vistas 7:30am to 10pm daily. The Resort's location on the edge of Cox Bay, offers breathtaking ocean views from the wild and beautiful west coast that is unique to Vancouver Island. Equally spectacular is the impressive interior architecture of the Great Room. The open concept enables uninterrupted views of nature while the modern furnishings, wood accents and fireplace features provide the warmth and feeling of a living room setting.
Had lunch here whilst enjoying tremendous views of the ocean. On a winter's day it's a great place to watch the waves crashing in. The food was nice and the services good indeed.

Surveying the panoramic vistas from the westernmost point of Tofino’s idyllic Chesterman Beach, The Pointe Restaurant’s Refined West Coast cuisine and attentive service come gift-wrapped with 240 degree views of the Pacific Ocean, surrounding Islands and wildlife. Much of the fresh seafood is fished from the very waters overlooked by The Pointe, and a longstanding focus on locally sourced, high quality ingredients is evident. Dinner is offered on a seasonal à la carte menu, but for the best of the best, try Executive Chef Warren Barr's weekly tasting menu; Daily brunch is a true treat. Out of the ordinary desserts reflect an innovative Pastry program where most everything - from bread to butter to scrumptious chocolate croissants are housemade. An extensive wine list, recognized yearly by Wine Spectator magazine, showcases BC’s finest selections with a broad range of international bottlings. Over 100 Scotch Whiskies and a creative cocktail menu can be savoured in the comfortable On the Rocks Lounge. A true taste of Rustic Elegance On Nature’s Edge - and the West Coast’s best views - are on the menu at The Pointe Restaurant and On the Rocks Lounge.
Likely the best place in Tofino / Long Beach National Park / Uculet Peninsula. Make a reservation! Lots of people show up and get turned away.
Well trained international wait staff are knowledgeable about the menu and local setting as well as offering several languages
The menu is not large, no salads during our visit, but excellent starter choices (fois gras) and options for mains from vegan to full on carnivore
Huge wine cellar as well as excellent glass and 1/2 litre selections
An amuse bouche compliments of the chef welcomed each guest
One cocktail, 1/2 litre of Shiraz, fois starter, two mains and a scotch to end all in for $240 (including tip)
Well worth the visit. Not an every night sort of thing, but definitely once each visit to the area
Extraordinary views from the dining room ( window table nice, but not necessarily required )

Legendary Seafood & Steakhouse Locally owned, proudly destroying appetites since 1949. Casual dining, Fine dining, Oyster bar, Cocktails lounge and Tap house. Unrivalled ocean and mountain views. Great patio, centrally located.
It is worthwhile to read the history of this restaurant on their website The Bruce family has owned it since 1968. Mare Bruce runs it now (and is still in the kitchen) along with her sons and family members..... We had the seafood platter for two to begin with and this is a delicious excellent choice!! I totally recommend it. I think their (in house) smoked salmon was the best I ever had in my life. The seafood that we had here was truly excellent. The ambiance was comfortable and attractive. The staff were all super friendly. We love to come to Tofino and stay at Long Beach Lodge. I don't know why we never ate here before but this was our loss. I will never come to this town again without eating at The Schooner!

We went for lunch here because we heard dogs were allowed on their covered patio. Lovely, glass enclosed room with a couple of tables with fireplaces was an inviting sitting area made that much better that we could keep our pup at our feet. Beyond that, our lunch was fantastic! The tuna stack, burger and most delicious mussels finished with the beautiful apple pie are all recommended. Service was excellent but it was a slow lunch time. I’m sorry to say we went back for dinner the next day and it was much busier so service lacked compared to the day before and our three meals, although tasty, were slightly better than lukewarm. We asked for fresh hot fries and when she promptly returned they were slightly better than the first. I would give them another go at dinner in case that was just a bad night.

Fresh local food made with love in Tofino, BC.
I went because my friend told me it was an excellent restaurant. We sat on picnic tables. I ordered soup and something else I can’t even remember, the soup was undercooked and cold the other item I ordered was strange but I ate it, I left hungry. Overall I would not recommend this restaurant.

Stopped in for lunch and loved the menu. Had fish tacos and a vegan burger made with tofu and topped with all sorts of goodies, including an avocado and tomatillo sauce. Served with perfectly cooked home made fries, it was a terrific meal served by friendly staff. Take out or eaten under a funky outdoor picnic shelter, it was a very cool place, and well worth a visit.

Two Flat whites and a Latte were excellent with friendly service. This is a quirky coffee house with free Wifi. We didn't have any food but it looked good. We will be back

located in a bright orange catering truck at the back of parking lot complex. GREAT food. must be listed on here.,
I haven't tried Tacofino in Victoria yet, but my friend from Tofino said Tacofino in Tofino is much better than the one in Victoria. Thus, I had to try it. It feels a bit expensive for the portion, but it was delicious! I would highly recommend to try it! I had fish tacos, and it had Japanese flavours in it (I am Japanese btw), and it was very nicely fused together. It is in a great location between Beaches and trails for a quick lunch break.

Yummy Basic chocolate treats, truffles, lots of varieties. And don’t get me started about the gelato ice cream- everything is fresh and taste so good ... just before tofino -easy access off the highway . If you enjoy ice cream or chocolates- this is a must stop !!!!!!
