Hands down, the best breakfast in Tobermory- when taking into account value for price, comparison to other restaurants serving breakfast, and service. I have visited frequently for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and you'll find consistency in good food, that's for sure. I obviously have a meal preference, and that's just because I'm obsessed with good breakfast options.
PRO: big portions, reasonable prices, wide variety, obviously wheelchair accessible, a staff that is always trying their best (shoutout to the wonderful matriarch servers who run the place on wit, charm, and skill), decent Takeout setup, always clean.
PRO: Hella decent diner coffee. This is a big one for me. I'm not expecting a gourmet coffee program, I just want something strong and black that doesn't taste like battery acid. Leeside's delivers in a big way, and with a whole pitcher of steaming hot bean water to greet you upon arrival.
PRO: You can tell I have my mind on breakfast, but since that ends at 11:30am, their variety of other foods is also worth recommending. It's hard to find a hearty, affordable salad in Little Tub Harbour, but you'll find it here.
CONS: Tobermory is always going to be busy in the summer, so unless you're there for the first ferry or it's the shoulder season, mentally prepare yourself for the place to be packed to the gills. Anything other than that is a blessing.
This is a place I enjoy visiting alone, with my partner, or with a small group. I definitely recommend it, whether you're hopping on an early ferry, want a hearty meal before a hike, or generally want to bask in that small town diner vibe~

a little restaurant where you can eat in or outside. Wait staff was dressed in pirate clothing and so friendly and helpful. The food was to die for. Ordered white fish and fries. I can honestly say that I have never eaten fish that was so good and I love fish. They also had "all you can eat" fish on the menu. When our "Pirate" found out it was my birthday he brought the restaurant mascot out and set him on our table. Overall experience? Absolutely outstanding.

I had the most amazing Eggs Florentine and my dad and brother had Eggs Benedict. It was the most amazing breakfast I've eaten. The hollandaise was to die for. I wish I got more potatoes because I could have eaten a whole plate of them. The service was super friendly too. They also let us eat outside with our dog. Definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Tobermory.

The Fish & Chip Place is exactly what the name suggests. There is outdoor and indoor Seating with views down over the harbour. The Fish & Chips were good, but I have had better. The place is basic but the service was prompt and friendly.
I wouldn’t travels to Tobermory just for the fish and chips, but the meal and location were fair value.

We were traveling to Manitoulin on the Chi-Chemaun ferry. We stayed at the Bruce Anchor Motel and arrived about 7:30pm. We asked the motel clerk about a place to eat and she suggested the Crows Nest Pub.
Nice relaxing pub style establishment, tables spread apart so not listening to someone elses conversation.
Staff was very friendly and able about the menu and drinks available.
The food was good for pub food, hot and tasty.
I would certainly return here for eats and would recommend it.

We have consumed more meals here than we can ever count and, this trip, we ate here numerous times for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is always good and the service is always excellent. Look for the breakfast special as it's one of the best in town. Meals come out quickly and the prices are reasonable. Not quite enough Seating, but worth the wait if necessary.

Loved this place as it's out of the way from the tourist area. There is a large parking lot with free parking in a quiet area. My husband ordered the Canadian Burger with fries and I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and Sweet Potato Fries. My husband hasn't stopped talking about their food - said it was the best burger he ever had! My wrap was delicious and the sweet potato fries were great and came with a delicious dip. Service was quick and polite, giving us an option on the deck or inside. We sat on the patio overlooking the water which was so peaceful and serene. It was quiet and enjoyable to watch the tour boats as we waited for our food. It came quick and we overly enjoyed our time at this restaurant. Would definitely recommend and would for sure visit again!!

It's hard to find vegetarian options in small places but thankfully this restaurant exists. I had a hard time choosing and in the end settled on the Seven Wonders Vegetarian Burger. I could hardly make a dent in the veggie burger, the portion was that big. I also was able to sample my son's sweet potato burrito and my daughter's vegan pasta and cheese dish. They were both quite good. The service was excellent and the server, who I believe is the owner, took the time to explain all the dishes to us.

we stopped in to see sweet shoppe next door and went for coffee. the staff were very good , knew their menu and options super well and were fun and served well. we went back a few times its well worth it
