Tessenderlo is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Limburg. It is where the three Belgian provinces of Limburg, Flemish Brabant and Antwerp meet at the front gate of the Averbode Abbey. The municipality Tessenderlo encompasses the villages of Tessenderlo proper, Schoot, Engsbergen, Hulst and Berg. On January 1, 2006, Tessenderlo had a total population of 16,811. The total area is 51.35 km² which gives a population density of 327 inhabitants per km².

We went to this café - restaurant on a Saturday evening. It was rather busy, and because of this very, very noisy, to the extent that we were actually happy to leave. The owners really should consider putting some sound absorbing screens. Food was very good, but our taste buttons were paralysed by the noise ;-).

A fairly new restaurant in Tessenderlo, that could have filled up the space created by the end of Manger Manger...hélas, not the same standards. Restaurant is next to and linked to a café-brasserie. Menu looks promising. The dining room is somewhat small, which means you can not help hearing the others talk. Nice furniture. Food all in all is OK, but lacks the sparkle of creativity. Also we had the impression the cook had to juggle with time, and hence had to prepare some things too long in advance.
We were a company of 4 that had a seafood starter. It smelled and tasted awkward. 3 of us were sick within hours. We gave feedback to the restaurant, and all they did was hide behind their supplier and behind the fact it could be our own problem, which definitely was not the case.
Based on this, not a restaurant we will go back to. Apart from the food poisoning, we are looking for some more creativity and more outspoken taste.

Als je binnenstapt kom je terug in de jaren 80 terecht. Totaal veroudert en het geeft allemaal een rommelig en niet proper gevoel. Eten ook erg matig (oud frituurvet?) .. Bediening was wel vriendelijk, maar terugkomen doen we niet meer.

We went here to celebrate my birthday on a quick visit to Belgium. The food was plentiful and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the service was friendly and fast. The prices were reasonable. Would definitely go back here next time I return to Belgium.

We were a family of four visiting from the USA with 2 of our Belgian cousins. Dinner was 6 meals of pasta, 2 macaroni with ham & cheese, 2 PenneChef pasta with ham & tomato cream sauce, 1 tagliatelli with smoked salmon pasta (linguine) with cream sauce and 1 Mezza Luna ricotta & spinach .... the presentation was excellent! We all agreed our meals were most excellent. We had dinner on a Thursday night at 6 pm.... we did make a reservation and our table was ready immediately as we arrived. The host gave us just the right amount of time to cruise the menu - with a little help translating. Prices (to us) were excellent for the quantity and quality of food we received. Go there hungry! If and when we are in Tessenderlo, Begium again, we will most definitely return for a wonderful meal.

If breakfast is your favourite meal of the day, the breakfast formula in this restaurant is what you're looking for! The variety of food is very large. You can drink orange juice, apple juice, grapefruit juice, coffee, tea, (hot) chocolate milk or water, there are different kinds of cereal, bacon, eggs (boiled or scrambled), sausages, potatoes with bacon, many other warm things, a large assortiment of spreads, different kinds of bread, fruit, desserts, yoghurt, pancakes etc etc...Summarised, you probably won't be able to try everything. :) Next to the restaurant, there's a forest museum and a whispering path for kids, many paths in the forest to go for a run, a playground and a watch-tower which gives a panoramic view over the area.

We had not been there for a while, but we recently did, because this restaurant was well known for it's quality. What a surprise ! Totally renewed, fresh colours, very friendly service from all the staff and very good dishes and, affordable !!!
Considering the above and the location, this is one of Tessenderlo's best in respect of price and quality.

Wij werden aangenaam verrast bij ons bezoek aan dit restaurant. Het ligt achter een benzinestation, maar ziet er zeer proper en netjes uit. Een vriendelijk onthaal en een correcte bediening, en een vriendelijke chef die zelf zijn aperitief hapje aan tafel bracht deden de rest. Het eten is perfect, mooi en vooral lekker. Door het vele volk moet je er even wachten op het volgende gerecht, met twee eten klaarmaken en opdienen is misschien wat weinig ...
