Went for a late breakfast with husband. Warm greeting and quick cups of coffee brought shortly after menus. I had my favorite philly steak omelette with cheese, I forgot to ask for cheese inside, not the same when in the top, with hash browns and toast. Yummy. I swear it was larger than the last one. So good. My husband had the 2X2X2--2 scrambled eggs, 2 French toast (made with extra thick bread), and 2 strips of bacon. Of course he got a side of hash browns. Friendly efficient staff who kept our coffee filled and plates cleaned as they were finished. Can't wait to go back.

Harvest Bakery is in nice local Hometown Bakery if that's your thing they have all of your seasonal and holiday Specialties it's conveniently located and pricing seems to be fairly decent I've only personally gone in once or twice for some things my kids needed for school and it seemed as though it was well priced and everything baked freshly I would suggest perhaps a remodel of the bakery itself it seems a little outdated in the front end aspect which may make people think that it's not as clean and fresh as the products are.

Have been coming to this spot since my grandparents would bring us for candy and ice cream treats. Saw an add that they were open for breakfast, lunch and dinner (9-9), so went for lunch. Enjoyed a Turkey and cheese in a garlic and pesto wrap...filled with meat. Yummy. Husband had Italian combo 6" was more than plenty. Fun sodas and a couple of treats from candy store for dessert. Maybe ice cream next time.

The late lunch we had was delicious! I had a Wisconsin burger. It was yummy! My daughter had a salad and baked Mac and cheese-She said it was very rich with flavor! My husband was thrilled with the meatloaf. He said the brown gravy and mash potatoes were skillfully made! We had a very nice meal! The place was clean and very friendly!! We will return!!

Great selection of pizza and sandwiches. Everything is good. Sandwiches are big, you get a.lot for your $. Very convenient - right on Rte 6. Service is good and fast. Small building, not really sit down - got to the one in thomaston or litchfield for bigger dining area.

Greers has everything you need for a family picnic right there in the store made fresh. The fried chicken is the best but order ahead there is standing room only and the store is always packed with people waiting for their food. As previously mentioned they have all kinds of entrees inside the glass counter top perfect for a picnic lunch and the picnic tables are right outside!

We didn't go here for a long time. It was dirty and nasty. But the new owner cleaned it up. The food is 100 per cent better. Pizzazz is great.

Yes, I'm citing a particular movie reference in my review title. The walls of Chute Gates provide the patron with several 1978-era Clint Eastwood move posters, including that one, with another wall offering tribute to John Wayne and several of his films on the opposite side of the restaurant. The music fits the setting, and numerous signed photos of country music artists from the last few decades cover the entry-way walls. You may choose to sit in the dining area or imbibe in the "Saloon." Luckily on this evening, Donna was our server, and she was delightful in personality, very welcoming, and excellent at her job. Live music happens on some evenings at Chute Gates, and karaoke was scheduled for 8:30 pm on this night, but I didn't hang around for that. Cocktails included: Lemon Drop (my only disappointment of the evening), Canyon Road White Zinfandel (a few glasses), and an Irish Coffee ($7.50). Entrees: Posse's Porterhouse ($28) with sweet potato fries, vegetables (yellow/green beans, baby carrots) and chicken/rice soup, Smoked Combo Platter ($14) of brisket and pulled pork with whipped sweet potatoes, baked beans, and carousel of BBQ sauces. Dessert was cheesecake with strawberries. All of the food was made well, with the only drawback being the Lemon Drop, which lacked much "lemon" taste. Especially if Donna is working, I'll happily return to Chute Gates. Next time, I'll try the Texas Tumble Weed!

Love this place. Great selection and a uniqueness of beers. The Friday cask is always a treat but dont dawdle, it goes quickly. Food trucks and Sunday yoga are part of the pleasantries. One of the few good things about Bristol
