First time at this buc-ee’s location. I’ve always had great customer service. Link sandwich, chopped beef sandwich, roasted pecans, beef jerky, fudge are all good. My kids love stopping here. We always have a blast. Seems like now buc-ee’s are going up everywhere.

Mee Mee's Thai Cuisine places emphasis on lightly prepared dishes with strong aromatic ingredients. Our goal is to provide fresh, authentic Thai food to all of our customers. We invite you to experience a traditionally prepared meal that is truly delicious.
Mee Mee's is STILL the best Thai food in Temple, but now that I'm non-gluten I love this place even more. They can make the Pad Thai gluten free, and it still tastes amazing! I couldn't tell the difference. As a recent non-gluten convert, it was breath of fresh air to be able to eat SOMETHING noodly that I love!

Fresh. Seasonal. Local.
My hubby and I are two senior citizens who like to eat out. After a Scott & White clinic visit early one morning this week we decided to go out for breakfast. After checking TA reviews we chose Megg's Café. The place is new, clean, with plenty of tables inside and out on the patio. Since it was a little chilly we ate breakfast inside. Service staff was pleasant and efficient. Ordered our coffee then perused the menu. I ordered the Brioche French Toast with blueberry compote. Hubby order the short stack of Brown Pecan Pancakes (2 very plate-sized pancakes) with sausage. The food was fantastic. Be aware the huge breakfast portions are huge and probably perfect for splitting between two people. So we took half home with us for the next day's breakfast. Yummy.
Take note this café supports using locally sourced food items from over 44 local farms.

Even if you THINK you don’t like sauerkraut you just haven’t tasted it well prepared. This place certainly doesn’t smell of sauerkraut when you walk in. Properly prepared, you need to rinse it several times before heating it up and preparing the sauce.
Yes, they have an amazing store with THE BEST FRUIT KOLACHES IN TEXAS, amazing meats, and in the back they will fix up your deer you bring in during hunting season, but dont skip the restaurant. It reminds me of small town places I used to go to with my grandparents back in the 1960s and 1970s when we were visiting their small towns.
My Dad loves when they make an interesting dessert, like a blackberry cobbler in season.
Green’s is about 20 minutes east of Temple, out on Adams Avenue in Zabcikville. The store closes by 6 or 7, so make sure to try it for breakfast or lunch!

We drove 40 miles to try out Oscar Store. Well, needless to say... the 12oz Ribeye melted in your mouth. It cut so easy and the taste was almost unbelievable! Ryan was our waiter and not only did he share with us all about Oscar's...MoreGlad you first experience was a great one! Thanks see you soon!

"Old" Jody's Restaurant is a unique place. Parking was a little tight, as it is a very popular place, but I found extra parking in back. Wide variety of diners included construction workers stopping for a beer on the way home, motorcycle tourists, sports fans, families with kids, and young couples, and senior citizens. Can get fairly loud with everyone having a great meal and a good time. Decor is country diner/lakeside cafe and seating fills up at dinnertime.Open for lunch and dinner and accepts only cash and checks. I had one of the best chicken-fried steaks in a long time and really enjoyed my dinner. I look forward to my next visit. Recommended

Pignettis provides the diner with a fine dining experience equivalent to that of a restaurant in Dallas, Austin, or Houston. You are treated to old world sit down dining with the added treat of a historic building atmosphere. They have a good wine menu and classic and Texan influenced Italian dishes. You will wonder how you’d missed coming here sooner!

This is a very good restaurant. I used to live in Temple, and we came here often. Stopped in for lunch on a car trip today and it remains a very good restaurant and a very good BJ’s.
Our server was very good and friendly, but service seemed a tad bit slow. I had their spicy chicken in soba noodles and my wife their bacon cheeseburger. My dish was very good. The burger was good except the top bun was very dry and fell apart. The coffee was a very good blend.
I like BJ’s because they have an extensive and varied menu with great craft beers.

Excellent all the way around if I was going to open a restaurant this is the kind of place I would open. everything was just right I had an excellent lunch, the red fish wrap was just spot on makes me regret not coming here for dinner and trying the steak.
Impeccable service as well.
