Hotel, Restaurant Garden & SPA
Outstanding in every way. We were seated for drinks in their beautiful garden while we waited for our table. There were wandering peacocks and macaws. Food, drinks, atmosphere and service were all excellent. My wife had eaten here before and independent of her recommendation, I’ve heard about the hotel as “the” hotel in Cuernavaca. Very pleasant afternoon and well worth the drive from Mexico City. Make reservations; it’s popular.

Restaurante Casa Hidalgo is located in the heart of Cuernavaca with a panoramic view of the Palace of Cortes and the Zocalo. Ubicado en el corazon de Cuernavaca con vista panoramica hacia el Palacio de Cortes y el Zocalo de Cuernavaca.

The restaurant, is inside the remains of Hacienda de Cortes, which is a beautiful colonial building that foreigners simply LOVE. The food is typical mexican, as expected. The Avocado Soup and Chicken with Mole are my favourites.
This is one of my favorite places to visit in Cuernavaca, when I travel here.

The Madrigal is located in the heart of one of the best areas of the city. We have the ideal combination of architecture, art, Gardens, gastronomy and service thanks to the experience of more than 60 years in the international restaurant medium. You can feel calm and relaxed in any of our spacious spaces such as the terraces and rooms around the garden or in one of the different dining rooms. Each area has details that make them unique and special. The atmosphere is totally familiar, you can enjoy as a couple and you can also close some important business. Our food cards (breakfasts, lunches and dinners) and wines are very well balanced to cater for all tastes.
This is considered a high-end establishment, but you really want something extra special when you're paying exorbitant prices, and this didn't fit the bill. Portions were small -- i could count that i received exactly 8 stringbeans -- and though fairly tasty, nothing out of the ordinary. Service was professional, not too stuffy, but i had to ask three times just to get a lemon to put in my water.

Chef Eran Scheflan Casual and sophisticated, Tamuz is a restaurant of International Cuisine with a Mediterranean touch. De estilo casual y sofisticado, Tamuz es un Restaurante de cocina Internacional con acento Mediterraneo.
The place has two beautiful terraces and a garden. One of the few places in Cuernavaca that has great bread, in both variety and flavor. Very nice breakfast with excellent service. Try the chilaquiles and the cecina.

Best Pizza In Mexico
Casual restaurant and a change of pace from the center of town. Pizza tasted like real food -- no weird salt and preservatives like a chain restaurant. However our pomodoro pizza could've used more flavor. I found myself wanting more cheese and spice.

Centrally located in the heart of Cuernavaca, HOUSE restaurant is a wonderful little oasis that has it all: a charming courtyard, impeccable, warm service, perfectly crafted cocktails, an eclectic crowd and a refreshingly innovative menu from one of Cuernavaca’s most promising chefs. Inspired by Southern California’s laid-back vibe, HOUSE puts an unexpected Modern-Mexican twist on an upscale California bistro. As casual as it is beautiful, dining alfresco amidst the whitewashed wood, lush greenery, and a classic Cuernavaca pool makes HOUSE feel less like a restaurant and more like a magic garden, which explains why it’s been named “the most romantic spot in downtown Cuernavaca.” But what keeps HOUSE consistently ranked TOP in Cuernavaca is its uniquely passionate interpretation of Mexican and Mediterranean cuisine like the delectable Pork Belly in Lavender Honey and the melt-in-your-mouth Sea Bass Carpaccio.
There is no way this is one of the top restaurants in Cuernavaca.
My wife and I visited after Reading a few reviews and were not at all impressed. The food was bland, wine luke warm and only one waiter! Admittedly it was 18.00 so maybe bad timing but that is no excuse. Outrageous prices for what we were served, half of which found its way back to the kitchen.

I visited Pavarotti for a business luncheon yesterday and was quite pleased to find that the new location is much larger than the old location. The decor is subtle and does not interfere with the dining experience as with many restaurants here. The service, food...Moregrazie mille per il vostro commento e un piacere la ringraziamo molto b

I just had lunch here and had Chile en nogada. It was very good, though did not realize they are served at room temperature. They also brought out a little mini loaf of bread that was piping hot and quite nice. On my check there was a tax," impuesto" of almost 15%. My waiter denied that this charge was the tip, so I left him a tip. But this is the first restaurant in Cuernavaca to charge this, and I am very skeptical about it. My host where I am staying just said all restaurants are required to pay this though sometimes it is already included in the prices. Strange as I have been in Mexico for 3 months and have only seen this charge 1-2 other times.
