The service is fast and the prices are reasonable. We ordered mee rebus, mee rojak and ABC. I think it is a far stretch to praise this place sky - high. The mee rebus doesn't compare with the top ones in Penang and Kuala Lumpur. It's okay but not that spectacular. The mee rojak is slightly better but still not that amazing. The ABC is interesting in that it's the first time I've seen one with pineapple but otherwise it's a bit too watery and lacking in content

We have been holding our company" last tooth " pre lunar New Year dinner at this restaurant for least the last 10 years. This is one of the reasonably price that serves about average restaurant food in Teluk Intan.
It normally caters to weddings and family wanting a meal in an air conditioned place.
It has a private room up stairs that can hold about 8 tables complete with a stage and Karaoke facility.

Average food, bigger food portion compared to KL, good service, almost the same price eating in KL but bigger portion. GST collected ;)

I've tried the chee cheong fun once in the past and I could quite clearly remember it being tasty and delicious. But in my most recent visit I thought it was just OK, borderline being bland. Did the quality drop? Or perhaps I've acquired a more sophisticated taste for chee cheong fun?

Somebody recommended to me to have their mee rebus here. They really served a big portion of mee rebus and rojak here. However, I am not a fan of this version of mee rebus, would prefer the Muar version. They have limited choices of drinks, so all you need to do is just refer to their menu on the wall.

On our way to Sitiawan we decided to stop in Teluk Intan for lunch. As we have not idea where to it we decided to check with the local. A shop keeper recommended this restoran to us and give us the direction. It is quite easy to find.
The food recommended by the lady boss is good (especially the Thai Style Bakur Salad). When the bill came, we all agreed that it is reasonable. So much so that on our way back to KL we stop again for another lunch. Will strongly recommended it if you are passing by.

Service - Excellent. Very friendly lady boss (and her husband too). You occasionally gets complimentary cookies or muffins to go with your meals.
Food - Portion is generous and taste good too. Price is very reasonable with NO GST and NO SERVICE CHARGE.
Place - Very comfortable and cosy. Good ambience with soft music in the background. Place is clean too.

Located in a remote town in Perak, Malaysia, this restaurant ideally serves local western fusion food as such recommendation by chef, well known Sizzling Butter Herb Chicken and most ordered Tom Yam fried rice. Please do not expect to get the authentic Thai tom yum fried rice, but this restaurant cook a hearty food loved by the local. You may check out their facebook page for details.
My rating is theoretically based on the demographic itself.
It may not be what you are expecting dining in style, but this definitely an unexpected experience that you gonna get in such a small town in Perak !

I stumbled on this quite by accident looking for a vegetarian restaurant called the leaf. I had the vegetarian curry and it was delicious. The rice, curry, rata everything was served on a banana leaf. They saw I was a westerner and gave me utensils but I would have been happy to tuck in with my fingers.
