You sit on stools and watch your hamburgers being made. Good fries and shakes, too.It is on a side street in Taylorville off Main. I think most people would not go in there because they would miss it. It is a little "hole in the wall" but serves up some good food. Many locals frequent this restaurant everyday.

Tastee Treet in Taylorville is well-worth the trip. They have the best lemon ice cream around. They serve other ice cream products such as the "Tornado" which is equivalent to a Blizzard from Dairy Queen. It is easy to get to in Taylorville. One note, make sure to bring cash since they do not take credit or debit cards.

This is a great restaurant for family dining. They offer senior meals and specials each day. They have wonderful desserts. The servers are very friendly.

Ice cream is okay here but double check your order to make sure they have it correct. Have ordered Blizzards before only to find that they made at least one wrong. :( Portions are rather skimpy compared to Hillsboro or Nokomis DQs. Chocolate-Marshmallow Root Beer counts as two items, so there is an upcharge here and butter pecan sundae is also considered two items, so you are upcharged for nuts. Not always cooperative about giving your kids salads in their Kid's Meals without an upcharge. Don't recommend this DQ.

Even though we were guests at the dinner we went to, we paid for everyone's meal. We were visiting family and they recommended Angelo's. The food was good and the price was very reasonable. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

I've heard people from other areas and states complain about how horrible KFC is and all I can think is I wish they could experience the one here in Taylorville!!! Owners Tom and son Jerry are very hard workers and they keep their staff on top of every detail. The buffet is by far the biggest hit and the staff keeps it full, fresh and clean. Definitely worth the stop. Buffet prices are higher on the weekend and dinner is more expensive than the lunch buffet of course so I prefer to hop in for lunch.

Large restaurant but portions are small and menu is expensive! Also, no buffet at all on any day.The food we had was good. Plenty of parking. Go to Q.Q. China which is also in Taylorville to get excellent Chinese food at reasonable prices and Q.Q. China has a daily lunch and dinner buffet!

Food is great. Florida is the best. She brings her Italian heritage to your plate. Her and her family do a fantastic job with their Italian dishes and pizza. Wish they had a more expanded menu of their Italian dishes.

The service here was excellent. Our server was very attentive and proactive. The environment was very inviting and modern. The food was very good, but I was not wowed. It was a bit pricey as well. Overall I was impressed, but I would suggest a bit lower prices.
