Great value for money at this restaurant. Breakfast here was delicious - purchasing a main menu item gives you full access to the continental buffet as well. Thanks for your good comments on the breakfast

Contemporary upmarket authentic Indian Malay restaurant with a point of difference. We also specialise in craft beer and good selection of single malt/ blended whisky. Please ask about the upcoming tasting nights. Private whisky lockers are also available.
The food is quite good, highly recommend their lamb dishes Bhuna Memana is exquisitely prepared, Chef's special chicken was also very good and recommended. The décor has been well thought of and smart, the acoustics afford you privacy without being nosy of other conversations.

Given the previous reviews, my experience at the Orangery was a little disappointing. I had the flambéed prawns, cooked at the table by a very nice Frenchman and they were quite nice. My wife had the duck which she could not eat because the breasts...MoreSorry to hear about the duck, we will always replace any mean not up to standard...

Restaurant specialise in northern indian cousins. It provides a complete experience of authentic food and pleasant service with can do attitude for you. The traditional fit out with hand carved ( one off) furniture with rich & colour full theme of Rajasthan.
It just gets more superb with each visit, this restaurant always delivers and then goes beyond. Authentic Indian Cuisine prepared with love and adoration. The chefs here have an passion that goes beyond your ordinary Indian Restaurant. The service coupled with the dishes teleport you straight to India. India Today New Plymouth is one of the best Indian Restaurants that I’ve visited World Wide. Yes I most certainly will be going back and I highly recommend a visit.

Had heard this is a great place for dinning, I can say they are correct. From start to finish the team make you feel relaxed and welcome. Choice of drinks through food is great. The meal was delicious packing multiple flavours without undermining the hero of the dish. We will definitely be back with friends and family.

Table at Nice Boutique Hotel is an award-winning restaurant considered to be New Plymouth’s finest. A destination in its own right, Table offers international cuisine with a kiwi twist. The hotel’s personality flows through to the dining spaces - delivering uncomplicated elegance into a number of private rooms and a tropical garden oasis with an outdoor fire for the winter months. Visit the restaurant or New York style bar for a variety of occasions including intimate or group dining, weddings and events, after work drinks or daytime coffee catch-ups.
This is an excellent restaurant, that would be at home in our big cities. The decor is warm and inviting, the service outstanding, and the menu exciting. They have an excellent wine list and there's a small bar area where you can enjoy an aperitif before dinner. Highly recommended.

The tapas menu was excellent as was the wine and beer selection. I had excellent paua fritters and pork belly skewers. The waiter who served me, a university student home from Otago, was friendly and attentive. I was on my own and felt welcome. There were many people there which suggest it is a popular place, deservedly so.

Went to Federal store for breakfast twice on a recent visit to NP. A really great store with a unique décor of old time kiwiness. Best eggs benedict with a homemade hash brown instead of toast! delish! Excellent coffee as well. Keep in mind this place is quiet small and tables are close. It is also incredibly popular and there are not a great number of tables, So I would avoid peak times or go early to secure a seat. Service was swift and friendly.
