Barley Creek is a restaurant, microbrewery and microdistillery located in Tannersville, PA between The Crossings Premium Outlet stores and Camelback Mountain Resort. The restaurant is on six acres and the main building is a post and beam timber frame designed and built by Benson Woodworking (This Old House Fame) The Outdoor dining area, on the property, has a full service bar, pavilion, the best view of Big Pocono State Park (Camelback Mountain) and can accommodate very large groups events and yes this is the place that has a world class wiffle ball field, cornhole board courts, two Bocce Courts and a keg (Firkin) curling court in the winter.
Been coming here for years and most recently stopped here for a quick bite at noon on a Sunday. No wait. Lunch was excellent and they put families with young kids in the back which is ideal. Recommend the wings and pretzel. The beer list...MoreHI Jay, Thanks for visiting the Creek again. Glad we are getting it right. Don't forget to check out our breakfast concept - The Morning Toast - next time you are in the area. Cheers - Trip

This restaurant has a very home style atmosphere and you felt at ease as you walked in. You seated yourself as clean tables became available. While there were only about 6 booths and 4 tables the turnover was quick without feeling rushed.
While the restaurant is small the food and service made up for that. The restaurant serves all three meals of the day. We were there for dinner. There was an extensive "special" menu in addition to the regular menu. Service was quick, both for seating and for the meal. Serving sizes were more than ample and particularly for dessert.
If in the area I would certainly recommend Cook's.

Their signs and tee-shirts don't lie, this is fast and friendly service and AMAZING flavors of coffee. One tip: make sure you get a frequent shopper card - there are tons of prizes and fun things. Try one of the specials of the week if you're looking for something new. Delicious! If I'm ever back in the area, I'm going to stock up!

Stopped for dinner with my wife on a Saturday evening. Was promptly seated and waitstaff was attentive and courteous. We both had dinners and the food came out very quickly! The food was good. If you are looking for something besides the chain restaurants and want to support a local business I would recommend this restaurant!

My vanilla latte was delicious. My eyes lit up when i saw this marvelous shop. The line was long but the baristas were great at keeping the line moving. They didn't have ALL of your normal options where food was concerned but it had all the basics!!

This is always our first stop on our Pocono weekends with friends. We always reserve the same table and arrive when the open. The staff usually laughs when we move the Rooster Decoration and place it in the center of our table. He is always...MoreThanks for the great review, we always enjoy a group that knows how to have a good time while enjoying a great meal at our restaurant. The family has been going to various Friendly's for over forty years.
They were one of the first few in my neighborhood at home (too many other restaurants in the area now).
Same atmosphere here kid friendly which is why we still bring the grandchildren here with their family.
Prices very good also for the big groups. Usually something to make them all happy with kid friendly dishes available.

The Village Deli is a go to for our breakfast and lunches. Working close by, it is convenient. The deli can be relied upon to have reasonable prices, quality foods and excellent service. Their breakfast sandwiches and bagels are great (go for the lumberjack). Their subs always have good quality meats and lots of it (the Piggy is always my choice). Overall, Great Food at Great Prices. Can't go wrong,

I ordered from big papas based on the reviews. In my experience great wolfs food is overpriced and mediocre at best. We had Hawaiian pizza, chicken fingers and pasta with meat sauce. They were all good. AND THEY DELIVER!!! So you don't have to change out of your bathing suit to get it.
