Crest Restaurant (aka "Giddipass") is on Hospital Rd in Tamale, around 50m from the Forsmuel Shopping Centre. You will find a reference in the Bradt: Ghana guide (Volume 5) on page 370.
Crest restaurant and its footop bar Giddipass has been the centre of Tamale nightlife for years - although now to be eclisped by the better Chuck's Bar. The rooftop is too hot in daytime (no shade) but great for views over Tamale at night or dusk. The Crest restaurant serves passable Afro-chinese dishes very, very slowly (check what is acutally available first). But the beer is cold and plentiful!

This is an unusual place. It's a low-slung building with some outdoor Seating and a larger indoor dining room. The menu is a combination of local foods and Western ones. We were there for the latter (it'd been a few weeks). Our 12" vegetarian pizza was very good, rich with toppings and cheese, and more than adequate for two people. Service was a little on the slow side, but extremely friendly. Price-wise, it was a little rich for Tamale. But if you're looking for pizza in Tamale, well, you probably should expect to pay.

Well I wouldn't call thigh class fine dining but it's tasty with a great selection as there's not many other places around. It's clean & safe.
Tried the pizza , beef lasagne, mozzarella bits, mozzarella ham wrap, all very nice. You have to understand this is Africa & to come up with something like this successfully is not easy.
They even presented a birthday cake with sparklers.

Fantastic Ambiance in the shade of the threes and serving good food and drinks in a relaxed enviroment
It's the place where I go to meet and hang with fun people. It's the place where I go to for lovely food and cold drinks. It's the place I go to when I need to relax, unwind, enjoy and regenerate. It's my second home.

Nice treed garden. The cover for your beer is not to keep out the flies, but to deflect the bat droppings from the mango trees. Not to worry, nothing fell on our table. The toilets are outside. Clean with towels and toilet paper. When I came to request soap, the staff immediately put soap in the washroom. We had a pizza and Greek salad without lettuce, because there wasn't any. Our meal was still very good. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Oasis will be closed for sprucing up and general maintenance from the 8th Jan 2018 to the 26th Jan 2018. We reopen with a bang on Saturday 27th Jan 2018. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers.
We came for a dance and it was fun but have to watch your bags and also would not come alone and as a female you may get hassled on the dance floor.I find this review totally perplexing. Oasis is a Lounge Bar & Restaurant and as such we don't have a dance floor nor the "blokes" that hang around it. I am sorry for your experience indeed.

This place has lots of room and a swimming pool for those who want to burn some calories right after eating. Food is good but takes a while after the order is placed
