I really can't find fault with the wonderful curries on offer, ours (Bhuna and Karai) were excellent, just the right size portions which together with side dishes and starters left us suitably nourished. Prices were more than reasonable, service attentive but not overly so, and we were left to enjoy our meal with minimal interference. I've no doubt we'll be visiting again on a more regular basis.

We were greeted by friendly staff as we walked through the door and then shown to our seat. The Seating was well spaced and the atmosphere was calm, relaxing and romantic they had got it just right this evening. I do eat out fairly regularly and it is rarely that the service is perfect, tonight it was. The timing on each course was perfect, we didn't have to wait too long but at the same time didn't feel rushed.
The food was excellent between us we had the soup to start and for main I had the pan fried chicken and my partner had the risotto and finally we had the selection of Deserts. All of the food was spot on we could not fault any of it.
Compliments to the kitchen staff and a big thank you to Katie our waitress for making this a very special evening

Myself and husband made a visit February 24th to have a Meal and drinks.
* Atmosphere friendly and inviting.
* Food was Lush hot and well presented with great Menu to choose from.
* Staff was polite and presentable made you feel very welcome.
Would definitely be going back great place.

Visited last weekend with a party out to celebrate a friends Birthday. Pleasant surroundings and a plenty of space for a large group 8+. When the food came it was well cooked and tasty and a good sized portion. Starters were also more than adequate. None of our party had dessert,
It's a small dining area and it can get quite loud when full, otherwise a great night was had at good prices.

We both were excited to try South Indian cuisine especially with a good vegetarian menu . I had the veg thali and my husband the non veg thali . Started with soup , both were freshly made and delicious . The thali offered an excellent selection of curry and side dishes. Puri was divine . Slightly sisaapointed at the desert of apple and banana in milk , not very tasty or inspiring had little flavour or appeal . Would definitely go back and try more of the menu.

I went in to try the new menu & thought it was lovely, I had the Salmon as a main course which was the best salmon I've had in ages very very nice, was a tough choice in Deserts but opted for the Chocolate Brownie which proved a very good choice it was amazing! Can't wait to go back and try out something else from the new menu (or maybe same meal lol)

Visited her for a friends birthday last night and had a wonderful night from start to finish. Excellent food, drinks, service and time.
The menu had just changed however there was a delay in sending it out to us so when our party of 10 arrived we found two bottles of complimentary wine in our table, nice touch Redgate.
Every single dish whether it was a starter, main or desert was served within a reasonable amount of time and was exceptionally well presented, the flavours were amazing. I had the special beef strips in a garlic, cream and Stilton sauce. It was the best meal I had eaten in years. Served with rice and chips it really was a satisfying meal.
The desert we chose was Lemon meringue, not a lot but it was extremely flavoursome.
I hung around after the meal and joined in the weekly bingo ( which I won) and quiz.
The bingo teller really drags out the word hearts which tickled us..
What a great Pub the Red Gate is, far better than any chain pub and very reasonably priced too.
Go, on try it, you won’t regret it!!!

My hubby and I had dinner here on 13 th Feb. We took up the offer of having two surf n turfs for £6.50 which was fabulous. Good food and drink and the atmosphere is really nice . A comfortable place to eat and staff are very friendly.
