They used to be at 605 Main Street
Truly a happy place with board filled with cards for any occasions. Three birthdays during our dinner. Food excellent, mango chicken perfect and size large enough to split. Wor wonton soup so much meat and shrimp, that very little broth. Egg rolls crisp with no grease. Very busy 530 - 730. Family is true Chinese and food taste and quality shows. A good stop in any town.

I do maintenance here so this might be a little biased. Whenever I work at this store, I always notice the friendliness, and efficiency of the crew on hand. Also this manager seems to know what she is doing, because the store is always very clean, and the crews always work well together. Also whenever I'm there, I am always offered a complimentary drink, and have never had a bad one. A very worthwhile experience.

Lassen Ale Works at the Pioneer Saloon in Uptown Susanville is NE California's only brewpub. The historic Pioneer Mercantile building we occupy has been home to a saloon for over 150 years--look for the large vintage neon Pioneer sign on the south side of Main Street. We offer a small but eclectic menu of house-made dishes including fish and chips, lamb stew, hamburgers and fresh salads. Our ales are made on site and include light and dark ales from the pale, crisp Bizz Johnson Blonde to the rip snorting Pioneer Porter. We also have a full bar, specialty cocktails, wines by the glass and a selection of single malt scotch. Take a seat at our 36-foot-long bar and admire the wall of local ranch brands above the bar back. Or watch the brewer at work in the back room and play pool beneath the historic mural that celebrates Susanville's logging and ranching roots.
Loved the ambiance. Really cool bar! Everyone was very nice.
I had the fish and chips which were best I've had in a long time.
Husband had hamburger which he raved about, and he doesn't do that very often.
We shared a piece of carrot cake and it was delicious!!

Arrived in Susanville about 3:30 pm in time for this restaurant's early bird special, which was a list of dinners for $6.99. These included grilled chicken breast and baked potato, and a complete Turkey dinner with potatoes, veggies dressing. Both included chocolate pudding for dessert. When the bill arrived I was surprised that I had been charged $7.00 for the $6.99 dinner, but I didn't complain because the meals were worth literally every penny.

The burgers are made just after you order, and come out the way you might remember the local burger and fries were made when you were in high school. This is a prize for the locals, who leave early for lunch just to enjoy the fantastic World Burger. Malt or shake is made to order to round-out the experience.

Quality Food And Atmosphere In Remote Town
This is a down-home family Mexican restaurant serving dishes in the classic style. They also offer specials which always please. The dining areas accommodate a fair number of folks, and there is a full-service bar in house.

Had diner there on 3 separate occasions, always good food. The salad buffet is outstanding..... everything you could ask for and even chicken strips and ham cubes. Unless you are really hungry, consider just the salad bar alone. I always got a salad and small pizza and had pizza to take home. I loved it!!!

The staff was very friendly. They were good about making each half of our sandwich different to suit each of our wants and needs and then wrote "his and hers" on the outside. They were fast and the food was fresh. We like to stop here on our way from Oregon to Arizona.
