The aptly-named Surfers Paradise is just that—a haven for those who pay homage to the gods of the sea by attempting to become one with the waves. The beach here is a golden stretch of soft sand that provides the perfect ambiance for a day of catching waves, catching a Frisbee or just catching some rays. Refuel at one of Surfers Paradise's 150 restaurants and cafes, or hit a Northside day spa to soothe your surf-weary muscles and smooth your sun-kissed skin.

The highly trained Misono chefs are known as entertainers as well as culinary masters and create an unforgettable dining experience every time as they slice, dice and juggle utensils, while tossing prawns and eggs. A range of teppanyaki banquets are prepared at your table featuring combinations of fresh seafood, tender steak and succulent chicken. All banquets are served with miso soup, followed by salad, prawn appetiser, hibachi vegetables and steamed or fried rice. Step inside and live the moment. If you were taught never to play with your food then perhaps it’s time to break the rules. Expected the unexpected...amplified at Misono.
We visited Misono at the Marriott Surfers Paradise for a birthday dinner for my partner! It’s a lively, fun teppanyaki experience and the food is good - similar to any teppanyaki restaurant on the Coast really. Dennis our chef was really entertaining and doubled as a DJ with great music blaring from his prep trolley! This is not the place to go if you want an intimate dinner - it’s loud and noisy but lots of fun!

Cosy place, with delicious food. I visited the restaurant with my friends during our trip in Australia. We ordered Pizza, Spaghetti, Steaks and some seafood. All of us were very satisfied. Staff is very friendly. They gave us some good advises about places we could visit and things to do, to make our trip unforgettable.
And I want to add that prices rn't high at all.
So, I have lots of reasons to suggest you this place

The staff were super friendly and catered to our needs. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the veal scallopini funghi I didn't even need to use my knife the veal just ripped a part it was absolutely perfectly cooked. My partner had the amatriciana gnocchi and he could not fault it, the sauce was just right and it had a nice bit of spice but it was not too hot. We also had the crumbed camembert with chilli plum sauce and that was absolutely divine. One of our favourite dishes when travelling Europe was crumbed camembert and it nearly gave that one a run for it's money! I went to Alfresco as it was my birthday the following day and the waitress brought over a piece of tiramisu and sung me happy birthday which I thought was so lovely and it really made my night. I just loved everything about this experience and I couldn't recommend this restaurant enough. I can't wait to come back and try more things off the menu. Absolutely divine!

This is my favorite buffet around. Seafood is always fresh and continually refreshed. Good selection of other food. Breakfast is great too

Delicious pastas with home-made sauces. The best oven-baked pizzas. Great tasting veal and chicken dishes. Mouth-watering steaks and seafood. Fresh green salads. A wide selection of wine and beer. "Good food - Good friends - Good life."
We visited this restaurant after being charmed in by the pleasant host walking down the street, and we were incredibly glad we did!
My partner had the king prawn linguine pasta, and I had the Veal in a creamy mushroom sauce, and both were fantastic (I didn’t attempt to try and spell the names of the dishes in Italian)!
Good size portions, very high quality food, and cooked to perfection - a real authentic Italian experience.
Would 100% recommend, and go back!

As locals we have walked past this restaurant many times, however today we decided to call in for a quick lunch.
A basic selection of vegetarian foods, good tastes, well presented and welcoming staff.
Overall we were very happy with our experience and will probably return.

Cafe Alfons is open for breakfast and lunch 7 days from 7am. This high profile cafe is perfectly positioned on the prime Eastern corner of the Chevron Island village strip. It boasts a broad menu, while maintaining an uncomplicated selection of breakfast favourites and signature dishes to appeal to every palate. Cafe Alfons is also well known to locals for consistent, smooth tasting coffees and homemade cakes.
Staff are excellent and friendly. However the breakfast menu is full of eggs and creamy type things. It would benefit from a greater variety of dishes. The food we had was ok although the bacon was undercooked. However I got a case of food poisoning and was very ill before I got home and was sick for the whole day. Care with food is necessary in this heat!

Longboards is the Gold Coasts best gourmet burger & craft beer bar. Voted #3 best burger in Australia 2014 by Trip Advisor. Longboards offers great food, good times and funky tunes
My partner is a burger snob. He loved the El Chapo burger. I had the Mona Lisa. Both were delicious and unique. The fries and gravy were average. They have a large selection of burgers and other food.
Its a self service concept but the staff are friendly.
The reason I knocked a point off was for cleanliness. The first table we sat at was so dusty that it left a film of black dust on hands and forearms. The tables and menus are sticky and need to be given a proper cleaning.
The reason I knocked the rating

Food is at the heart of every fond dining experience. At Clifford's, we offer a contemporary menu that will incite the dining impulses of even the hardest to please. Simple, thoughtful meals, based on wholesome, hearty produce and fashioned for sharing - the perfect complement to great conversation in a beautifully relaxed setting. We are a modern spin on the traditional grill house, boasting a centrepiece ten-burner grill that our culinary talent sets alight daily to fire up fresh meats, seafood and other staple favourites grilled to mouth-watering perfection. Salads, tapas and sides with a twist will also have you second guessing your options being spoilt for choice. Executive Chef, Daniel Smith, named Chef of the Year in the 2001 Movers and Shakers edition of GQ Magazine, believes his restaurant is the embodiment of social dining on the Gold Coast, akin to what one would expect in any top ten metropolitan destination in the world. And he should know having cooked for many notable celebrities globally. Hearty and healthy breakfasts are also available at Clifford's on weekends.
First time visit to Cliffords, for Valentines dinner. The greeter was very good, the wait for our table minimal, the waiter explained everything on the menu (it was a set menu with choices), our drinks were prompt and the food service excellent.
The meals are large, so be careful in ordering "sides", after entree and mains we had no room for dessert. I was very impressed with the entire experience and would not hesitate to recommend.
Good work, Cliffords !

Visited here with the family whilst on holiday. A cheap eats webpage revealed cheap ribs night on Wednesdays so we booked. There was some sort of mishap with our original booking via the phone not recorded on their books however the hostess fixed us up with the last table which was outside which was exactly what we wanted. While I had pork ribs my wife ordered Salmon as she doesn’t eat meat. She said ur was very nice but the manager told her just before it arrived that as it was a small piece and that’s all they had (they are primarily a meat restaurant so that’s understandable) so they gave it to us for free. The kids shared some chips so it really was a cheap and very delish dinner. The ribs were falling from the bone like they should and had a beautiful bbq sauce. It was an enjoyable evening.
