Established in 2009, The Uma Bali is an authentic Balinese restaurant located in Kota Damansara, serving non-halal porky Balinese cuisine. The restaurant occupies two floors of a shop-unit. Normal table seated dining arrangement on the ground floor, and traditional cross legged Seating on the first floor.
The Uma Bali is out in KL suburb of Kota Damansara, a popular destination for locals particularly at lunch times during the week and in the evenings at weekend.
There is a good variety of Balinese dishes including Duck, Pork, Seafood etc. The combined plates are of good size, best shared with maybe some side dishes to fill any hungrier stomachs.
Excellent service in a quiet atmosphere it is well worth the trip out of town if you like Balinese food but I would recommend making a reservation just to be on the safe side.

A Western-fusion restaurant and bar bringing you food and drinks you know using only the best ingredients.
We had an entourage of 7 folks meeting up for the first time as my best mate proposed to his GF. The food choice was great from the usual bar bites to their spicy finger licking vindalooo fried rice. Would give them thumbs up for the taste.
We sat outside and the ambience was nice.
Their staff was courteous, witty and friendly . I forgot the dude with the handlebar mustache name but he was a great sport. As they had a full house the food Delivery was slightly slow but they gave us a tray of shots as a complementary buzz .
Nice place and will definitely return.

GeorgeTown White Coffee - not to be confused with Old Town White Coffee, or Penang White Coffee - is a local chain of cafes. Their intention is to serve food reminiscent of street food in Penang.
I had the curry chicken and roti toast for RM6.90 (about US$ 2.10) and it was excellent. A nice chunk of chicken and aa chunk of potato in a nicely spiced curry. The poprtion isn't huge, but it's a good light lunch.
This review is about the George Town White Coffee location on Komtar Walk, which is the original one in George Town.

Lee Hong Kee at Sg Buloh is a chinese restaurant which offer plenty of well cooked dishes.
Their signature dish is the roast chicken which is propped up with a stick. The skin is crispy and meat is juicy. The steamed tilapia is also very good with a unique sauce which has hints of citrus and mint in it.
This restaurant is a favourite amongst family members and will not fail to deliver when we want delicious Chinese dishes with reasonable prices.

I've been there a few times for business purpose. They serve good dishes but the price is quite expensive which we can get the same menu at other restaurant with more cheaper price.
Customer will like the place because it is big and the environment is beautiful and relaxing.

I came recently to this restaurant with a group of people from KL (Indians, Chinese and Malays) and we all agreed that food here is really really good. We shared several dishes, like grilled fish, shrimp omelet, vegetables, prawns... Everything was extremely tasty and interesting. Pay attention, majority of dishes are hot spicy. Also desserts were a nice experience. The place is kind of a rustic one, but warm and welcoming. Highly recommended for a typical dinner!

Signature is a trendy and premium gastro-lounge where award-winning signature cocktails are concocted and a great selection of international premium beverages are served. It is a contemporary dining room section for the avant garde who wish to be tantalized by a plethora of Asian and international fusion cuisine. The menu is unique where patrons who love the finer things in life can indulge in a gastronomic dining experience. And to be consistently delighted and occasionally surprised, patrons can look forward to special treats like cooking classes, lovely weekend brunches and whisky / wine pairing dinners. Signature also serves as an ideal and classy joint for social gatherings and events designed to meet customizable experience. It is also exclusive to visiting premium chefs.
The view over KL at night pointing at Petronas Towers direction, venue with comfortable seatings, the retro playlist, and the cozy atmosphere... all is set for a perfect dinner with friends or even better with a date.
Except : the low quality of the food & the pitiful service.
Thanks but no thanks, I won't ever come back again.

Koncious Cafe is a newly opened health food restaurant in Damansara. I love the Balinese inspired ambiance and New Age music on the background. I just hope they can add more bulk to their pesto, really yummy but serving is not that generous at a price of 25 myr! Would like to try their other food though

This restaurant used to be one of the roadside zinc-roofed stalls, and they have since moved to their own building a few years ago. Located smack inside a Chinese village, one would not know about the place unless someone brought you here (which was what someone did for me years ago!). Currently, if you point your Waze to "Restoran Ah Soon", it'll bring you there...
Serving typical Chinese cuisine, some of the signature dishes include the "kah heong" steamed tilapia fish (served with a generous portion of side ingredients), "tau chim" (bean noodles cooked soup-style or dry-style), curry chicken bun (available only on weekends), fried lotus root with macadamia nuts and cuttlefish strips (my favourite!), as well as miscellanous other delicious authentic Chinese cuisine.
Service is fast, and you can also order fruits from a fruit stand located at the entrance of the shop. If you come in a group, ask them to prepare the dishes in small portions, as the portions can be quite big, and you also get to order and try more dishes).
Price-wise, it is good value for money for the taste and portion.
Note: Business hours are 10am-3pm and 6-10pm. They close on Thursdays.
