From freshly prepared soups to homemade desserts, you will find everything to be of the highest quality. Organic and locally-grown products used whenever possible. Large selection of craft beers and wine to accompany your meal. Casual menu with soups, salads, and sandwiches for lunch.
We were passing through and asked someone on the street where we could find a good place for lunch. Bluefront Cafe was suggested with a warning that we might have to wait a bit for a table. We did have a short wait, but it was certainly worth it. I ordered the veggie quiche of the day and it was the best I've ever had!

i arrived w/o reservation on a cold January Monday. Right on the lake very nice appearance. I ordered the small tenderloin and added the “gliddenized”. I also ordered an old fashion. The salad bar was ok. It had a lot of the white hard off tasting ice berg lettuce. I picked through it to come up with a small plate. The old fashion was disappointing, it is just a liquid pour with no mulling and light on the brandy. The potato’s and vegetables were ordinary, not very warm. The steak was excellent and done perfectly. The gliddenizing was cold and took away from a good steak. I think it may have been made ahead and held in the cooler.

We are a family owned and operated restaurant for 21 years. We specialize in home-cooked food, a comfortable casual atmosphere and service with a smile. Scaturo's is a FULL SERVICE restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and the "Bay's Best Sunday Brunch" year round, with all items available for carry out. We specialize in catering for all occasions, whether intimate or social. We offer our famous Door County Fish Boil (served with white fish straight out of Lake Michigan) June-October. We also offer Pizza Night on Wednesday's from 4:30 pm-7:30pm. Dine in, or take one of our signature pies to go.
One of my wifes favorites. Usually stop for breakfast and with the bakery your choices are many. Great egg selections and traditional fare. Worth stopping for on way north not that far from highway.

Old style Supper Club typical of Wisconsin. Décor and menu choices are sometimes not understood by visitors especially from urban areas, NY, SF, Chicago and negative remarks from customers from those places should be taken with a grain of salt. We serve great food with excellent service, we don't try to be something we're not but concentrate on doing what we do best.
We dined at Nightingale for my friend's birthday. We first enjoyed drinks in the bar, before walking over to the hostess stand (with drinks in hand) to ask for a table. The hostess said that she thought we were going to steal the glasses because it appeared that we were getting up from the bar and leaving with them. I thought she was joking, but judging by the look on her face, she wasn't.
We were seated and a much sweeter and friendlier waitress came to our table and told us about the evening's specials. I had a difficult time choosing what to order, as it's not everyday that you come across a place that offers a filet for only $25 and lobster for $30. A few minutes later, we placed our orders.
Bread and butter, along with soup and salads were served shortly thereafter. At the same time I noticed the hostess turn off the "Dining Room" neon sign and I panicked realizing that they were probably closing soon. The bread was quite airy and flattened as soon as the knife cut into it. It was not my favorite. The salad was just your average lettuce served with a tomato wedge. It could have used some croutons or other crunch.
Our dinner hadn't even been served and there were still 5 other tables with patrons, and the vacuuming began. Not out in the bar, but right behind my friend's chair. At this point, I wish the hostess would have extended her rude comments and had let us know that they were closing soon, rather than having sat us.
I ended up choosing the filet. It was very good, although over-done. I had ordered it rare and it was more medium-well. I enjoyed the au jus as it gave it a bit more flavor that was lost from the over-cooking. My friend loved her broasted chicken, stating it was the best she'd ever had! The birthday girl had lobster and I was lucky enough to get a bite and it was perfectly cooked and very tasty. The vacuuming continued throughout our meal, which honestly spoiled the camaraderie of a "Birthday Dinner".
Even though, the waitress and the hostess all knew it was my friend's birthday nobody offered us a dessert menu, just the check. I went up to the hostess stand to pay the bill. That's where I found everyone sitting around a table drinking and obviously waiting for us, along with one other table, to leave so they could go home. We honestly would have never have stayed if we had known that they were about to close when we sat down. It was 8:15 when we were seated and later when I looked up their hours and found they closed at 9, it means they began vacuuming around 8:30, which is so rude. We spent over $150 with drinks and tip, so that we could listen to somebody could clean up around us...ugh!

We made a quick stop in Sturgeon Bay, WI on our way home from Fish Creek and decided to eat here based on the TripAdvisor reviews. We were not sorry! This place is a gem. It seriously, is in the gas station.
Between the five of us, we had the gyros, and the lamb, veggie and paneer Kati sandwiches. Every sandwich was delicious. You can't go wrong.

Door County's only mobile restaurant! Serving "North by North Mex" cuisine: burritos, fish tacos, beer, cold brew coffee, sangria and more! We are open Fridays 11a-9p. Call or check Facebook to find out where we are located other days. We are a food truck so we are mobile <3
My wife and I split a Crock Pot pork burrito. It was delicious. We also shared chips and salsa that were fabulous. It was a nice night to sit at the picnic table and enjoy a great food truck experience. Also had a Badger State craft brew. Would definitely go back.

I ordered the Reuben sandwich. It was nasty! The meat was thick cut and leather dry. Very like Jerky. The sauerkraut was over cooked to the point of tasting burned. There was very little cheese and what was there was melted away. The bread was soaked with the kraut juice. The worst sandwich I have ever attempted to eat. All that said, the service was excellent. I suggest you can make a better choice.

Tasty, authentic Neopolitan pizza at a reasonable price. The menu has a nice selection of entrees including chicken and pasta dishes as well as salads. The service is friendly with a pleasant atmosphere. I will eat here again. There is aslo a coffe and gelato shop in the basement.

We serve a variety of classic and contemporary menu items of of traditional and contemporary American style. Our dining room is casual and we do take reservations for all meal services. Our bar offers beer, wine and cocktails with any emphasis on many craft breweries from within Wisconsin, as well as local wines.
The chefs here prepare excellent meals. I had "Stout Braised Short Ribs" which come with a side of "Honey Glazed Root Vegetables". Every bit was delicious.
