Service here is always slow. I went twice in one day, the first time for a single burger and mini blizzard, and had to wait a while. Second time through I ordered 5 burgers, found out they upped the price by 40 cents each, and had to wait a very long time to get them.

Title says it all really. Fourth visit, very good before, now...not so much. Bad day perhaps or the new way of doing things?
Went for Sunday Brunch. Ok food, VERY slow refilling the salads of all things, but our waitress...TERRIBLE. Painfully slow with drinks, bang them down on the table and rush off (busy when we arrived, but slower later on), had to flag her down to ask for more, and then another painfully long wait. Unless you seem to be a local or personal friend then she seemed to have all the time in the world to chat..oh well!
Couldn't wait to give us the bill and get rid of us. But perhaps that's what the owners want, eat and get out?
Well it worked...we wont ever be coming back!

Before I had a good experience here but seems like they couldn't keep up the good work for a long time. TOO BAD. Today ordered over easy eggs and an Engish muffin bacon and egger. The muffin was burned, very gross!! And the so called over easy eggs were less than easy and ruined my day where I had been driving 2 hours for to be all over the place including my clothes!! One bite on the toast and eggs made the eggs drag down my clothes. NOT GOOD A&W

We love the ambience, fun decor, the friendly efficient service, and the delicious pizza and beer. Also, the plates going by did look quite enticing. However, sadly all the wait-staff were young, slim women wearing black, tight, short, very short mini-skirts and tops. It's sad to see the clear exploitation of women in this day and age. The staff looked dressed for working in a sports bar, not a family restaurant, and it sends such a bad message for parents bringing their sons and daughters. The history and historic decor they present is fascinating and excellent, but the wait-staff dress does not reflect this. We won't be returning or recommend this place, despite the great food and ambience / decor.

It was a last minute decision to try the Oriental Grill. I usually eat at another vietnamese place is Strathmore but I was curious because of all the different options I saw on the outside sign. (Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai,...)
I had the Spicy Chicken Satay Pho and was very pleased with the little kick that came with the broth. It was very tasty but I couldn't tell if it was supposed to taste like satay or if the spiciness took over the flavour.
I requested half the amount of noodles as there is usually too much for me to finish the dish. I think this was the right decision because the size of this meal was much larger than I'm used to getting at any restaurant.
This is definitely worth a stop at when you are in the area.

Phone number 403-934-5957. Has been open for more than 10 years. They have ice cream but the are a Chinese/Western Cuisine Licensed restaurant.
This restaurant has been a family favourite for 2 decades, great Chinese food and Ice Cream! Our kids and their cousins love this place ... the Takeout helpings are huge for combinations !

Stopped in for a late night meal while travelling through. The bartender was quick and attentive. Great menu choices. They also have some great happy hour and late night specials. I had a tostado salad and some fish tacos. Very fresh and flavourful. Beer was cold. Lots of selection.

This is a decent restaurant. Nice enough staff, fresh enough food.
I've ordered food without requests and it tastes fine, but when I make a request "no lemon on the calamari" they seem utterly confused and don't know how to process the order.
Another stumper to them is "no sauce on the donair" I hate that giant glob of slop they plop on after they make it, they do it without even thinking. I asked them no sauce 3 times while putting it together.
So, decent place, but don't make requests.

This is more like a fast food place. You get your order to stay or go and the people are very friendly. If you love noodles or rice with veggies this is great place to eat. They also have sushi but I am not a fan of any sushi. I recommend there desert spring rolls, it tastes like apple pie.
