Serving the best scoops on the beach, Aunt Ebby's is a favorite for both locals and visitors. You can eat inside where its cool, or outside on the deck with a view of the Gulf of Mexico. Either way, you'll enjoy great music, delicious ice cream and the friendliest service in town.
The ice cream called us. Very generous portions and priced well for them. Stopped by a few times while spending a week on the island and could very easily have gone back more times. Would highly recommend for anyone who loves ice cream.

Paddy’s Raw Bar is an open air restaurant and bar located directly on the bay on beautiful St. George Island. With our large selection of draft beer, bottled beer and wine you can enjoy a cold drink with a dozen Apalachicola oysters. We offer fresh, local seafood, along with chicken, salads, gumbo, wraps, and juicy cheeseburgers. Everything on our menu is fresh, never frozen, and made from scratch! We offer live music every night, with Team Trivia on Monday’s at 7pm. Come drink a cold beer, with some of our mouth watering peel and eat shrimp while enjoying our gorgeous sunsets. Paddy’s- A Sunny Place for Shady People! We’ll save you a seat!
This bar brings to mind Kenny Chesney’s song .. love it . Always our first stop when we finally hit the island . Plenty of locals and tourists that like to think we have been coming to the island long enough to be some kind of “pseudo locals” . Love the live music , the oysters, the local Oyster City Beers and all the other favorite brews and most of all the Atmosphere!

Not only does Sweet Surf offer yummy refreshing treats, but the sweet young lady who was operating the place was so kind and genuinely happy to be operating her business. Because of this alone, I will go back everyday while we are visiting SGI. Way to go Sweet Surf- you've got it right!

We returned here for lunch during a recent trip to Apalachicola and got, again, fabulous oysters and entertaining conversation. The people here do a terrific job. I find the reviews on this site typically to be, well, generous but in this case they’re right on target. Best of all, for us, was no wait at lunchtime. I’m looking forward to next time.

Don't go here for romance, a lobster, great service, etc... It's a beach and burger/beer bar and it's really fun. Service was surprisingly good, food was better than average beach fare and kids love the place. It's a win-win for parents with large families. Mom and Dad can sit and have a beer while the sun sets, the kids blow off their last bit of steam on the beach. The food shows up, everyone eats and life is good. I have been coming here for years and years and these owners have done all the right things - worth a visit.

When in the area, this is one of our favorite places and always bring guests here with kids. The peewee golf course is nice, small arcade room and great music Friday, Saturday, for adults. Oh yeah, the foods great! !!!

We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. We have fresh seafood, oysters, steaks, as well as Texas style BBQ. We also have a full bar serving beer, wine and liquor! We offer a relaxed atmosphere indoors as well as a screened in outdoor patio area. As always, our main goal is to give the best service possible and the best home made food available in the area at the most competitive prices! We have also opened our 2nd location in Eastpoint where Captain Snooks used to be.....Beach Pit On The Bay! We are the only restaurant in Eastpoint with a full bar and waterfront dining! At Beach Pit On The Bay we have Happy Hour from 3-6 Monday-Friday offering specials on oysters and bar drinks.
The Beach Pit has become our new favorite on SGI; we have been for breakfast, for lunch, and for dinner, and we have consistently had excellent food.
I particularly like the short stack of crapes with strawberries for breakfast – I think we need to go back soon for that.
For lunch my favorite is the Brunswick stew. It is a barbecue based stew and it is delicious.
My husband had a grilled shrimp basket for dinner the other night that he is still talking about. And their pecan pie was excellent.
The food has been consistent and delicious. We are happy that they are on St. George Island.

We stopped in from a recommendation and glad we did. The wings were terrific (try the pesky pelican sauce), burgers are awesome since they are homemade and cooked to order, grouper basket was plentiful and the beer is only $1.75. Went back several times and also I forgot the peanut butter, bourbon pecan and key lime pies were excellent

BJ's Pizza is located in Florida between Tallahassee and Panama City Beach on a barrier island that is 4 miles out into the Gulf of Mexico. St. George Island prides itself on a natural environment and is well known for its unspoiled and uncrowded beaches, sport fishing, shelling, kayaking, swimming and world famous "Apalachicola" oysters that are harvested from the bay side. The island is home to a beautiful state park that was voted one of the top ten beaches in the country several years ago as well as a newly reconstructed light house and park featuring a basketball court and children's playground.
Went here with a large group who each ordered something different. We were followed in by another large group and soon the place was filled. Items came out of the kitchen and into the dining room in what seemed like "chef's choice" with easier items coming out first and larger pizzas coming out before smaller ones. My entire party had finished their meal and several tables who ordered after us were receiving pizzas and still no sign of my pizza. They were fine about giving me my money back but didn't seem to get the problem with cheerfully telling me it would be another 5 minutes before my pizza was ready even though my entire party had finished eating and two parties after us were halfway through their meals. They don't seem to get the idea of tables of diners - everyone is an individual order to be filled as best suits the kitchen.

This restaurant experience was a real surprise for us. Currently, this "chain" is not showing up in Eastpoint restaurants on trip advisor which is a crime. We were looking for a good breakfast, and we received one of our best restaurant experiences ever. CLEAN, SUPER STAFF, and the best burrito supreme egg sandwich I've ever had - served with a carafe of homemade salsa - YUM. I would bet lunch and dinner here are equally as good! Thank God they have a sign advertising "American Breakfast" or we might have missed out!!
