Food and service was amazing, loved the flash fried Spinach!!! A must try. My steak was cooked to perfection, and had a fun hip vibe. Good for business or pleasure.

Each time we come through Springfield from Texas we stay at the Oasis so we can eat at Fire and Ice, the service is always great and the food is fantastic, we have never had anything here that we did not like, not only is the food good but it has a hotel attached, you can walk down from your room get a great meal and never have to leave the hotel, not overly priced considering it is in the hotel, we had the Fire and Ice whiskey burger and the KC fillet burger they both where awesome we have had the Pad Thai and the Citrus Salmon before and both of those were great too. If you are in Springfield you have to try Fire and Ice.

My family's favorite pizza place in the Lake of the Ozarks is pappos. Was surprised to see it in downtown Springfield and enjoyed an evening what's some really good pizza and not having to drive to the Lake of the Ozarks to get it. They just opened up a new location in the southern part of Springfield and anxious to go try that next time I visit
Great pizza and enjoy the atmosphere

We stopped by at about 6:30 and the bus seating was closed. And it was cold! So we did take-out back to our room. The "Standard" pasty--beef, potatoes, onions--was excellent. We recommend spending the 75 cents for the gravy. Very tasty.

Very good deal if you do the early dinner hours. The food is priced a little cheaper and you get a free dessert with your meal. The staff are very friendly and attentive to your needs. Food was served quick and drinks remained full.
Make sure and get the salad bar for your side. It is self serve and very good. The food is fresh on the salad bar and there is pasta and potato salad offered.
I had the prime rib and it was very good. It comes with horseradish on the side and auju. The quality was excellent and cooked exactly as ordered. My wife had the Cajun chicken pasta and this was very good. The only issue with the meal was the pasta was spicier than we are used to.
The dessert is also very good and make sure you save room. If you are celebrating your birthday the dessert is free. Also if you and sign up to their email newsletter the dessert it free.
I highly recommended this place if you are in the location.

Great food in a pleasant atmosphere. I loved the catfish which is available grilled or crispy fried. I had the fried, and it was tasty and cooked perfectly. And the coleslaw was also very good. Other choices had by family members were Hawaiian pineapple, chicken tacos and a burger, all said theirs was good too.

We just happened upon this restaurant, and we were glad we did! The serving staff was very friendly, the ambiance was simple and unassuming and the pizza was yummy! The crust was a little different than what we expected, but it was good! A quick lunch that was a nice experience.

Order the fries to come out with your meal, otherwise you will not be hungry for your burger. I ordered the burger that came with 4 ribs. Surprise, they took the rib meat off the bones and put the meat between my burger and the egg. Yes, it was good. However I would have preferred the four ribs to have been left on the bone and served on the side.

Really enjoyed lunch here last week after hearing about about City Butcher time after time from my son and his wife who live in Springfield. Love the casual vibe of the restaurant...lots of paper towels within easy reach. I really enjoyed my meaty ribs and my dining guests seemed very happy with their 'usual'. The beans were just a bit salty for my taste. I thought the prices were fine. Employees were really terrific. A very nice experience.

Wow... where to start? Great location (though parking can be an issue), great facility, fantastic menu, great service, amazing food - we'd give it about 6,000 thumbs up!
Went for a mid-week dinner and were absolutely floored. Menu items you just won't find anywhere else in the area (arroz con pato). Most of the menu is gluten free (the exceptions are marked, rather than having the gluten free options marked), and everything we ordered was fantastic!
Full bar with superb cocktails, good wine list, outstanding food, great service - we'll be back (almost) every time we're in Springfield!
