Stopped by for a quick lunch with business colleague. Sloppy Chicken BBQ sandwich was highly recommended by everyone spoke with so I went for that. What a treat! Spicy and delicious, not that sloppy. I substituted fried okra for fries and am glad I did. My coworker had the prime rib sandwich and said it was good, not great. Server was a delight. Can’t wait to go back!

I've dreamt of going to a magical roadside BBQ joint where the angels bless the pit out back. This is it.
More food than I could ever hope to eat. We were 3 large dudes and ordered 3 racks of ribs. We barely finished 1. Melt in you mouth meat heaven. Worth the flight from Northern Canada to Tennessee. Going back in June 2017

Hand made with love, talent, and premium ingredients. Most unusual location to have food made to order, that is above average in all ways

Really delicious food and great staff. Owner is super nice and welcoming. Food choices are plentiful and just different enough to set them that much higher. I have never been disappointed. I warn you though, stay away from the milk shakes - they are too good and hard to resist!

My daughter and I visited after being curious for some time about this place. Charming Victorian house sparsely decorated with cookbooks and vintage look. The room we were in was yellow and across the hall from the register so am not sure what the other rooms looked like. Now, down to business, hostess helpful and friendly. Plan on a long leisurely lunch. I ordered the chicken sandwich, it is a plain sandwich with no toppings. The taste reminded me of a honey mustard in the batter it was fried in. The chicken was a large breast, no bone, and perfectly fried! The maccaroni and cheese was good and cheesy and pleasantly delicious. chocolate cake to go, it was delightful, froze and thawed out perfectly as I could not eat it all. My daughter ordered a hamburger, fries and butter pecan cake to go. She loved her cake and thought it was not too sweet. I found it quite bland and just not worth the calories. We would definitely go back! The menu is limited but since the food was so good I guess they just perfect what they offer! A+ Dayton!

1 hour and 20 minutes before I gave up and cancelled my order which the waitress requested that I pay for my drinks. Which I thought to be acceptable. However when she asked me to pay for the salad that we never received and dressing for I was beginning to get aggravated. So to not cause a scene I did so. We ordered a burger and quesadilla. Which I refused to pay for after she told me they were ready. I understand everyone has a bad night but an apology would not have killed them. I will not go back unfortunately one of the few restaurants around but I will make due with others as they are more friendly and appreciate the business. Sorry winsteads first bad review I have ever given.

This is our favorite restaurant in Spring City. We love their Mexican food, and the pizza is good too. We have a lake house in the area and every time we come we get our La Hacienda fix the first night we arrive! It is consistently good and we've never tried anything we didn't enjoy. Add to that a very friendly and welcoming staff, and this place is a total winner. We always take our guests here as well and they love it too!

First visit purchased two shredded pork sandwiches $5 each, small baked beans $1.50. Called in order tonight full rack of ribs $18.00, and large baked beans $3.00. sides are 1.50 for small and choices are potato salad, slaw, whole dill pickle, baked beans or chips. Brisket on bun $6, BBQ Baked Potato $6, 1/2 dozen wings $5,1/3 rack of ribs with sauce on side $6. Deli options see Turkey sandwich or chicken salad- whole sandwich $5, half $3. cold brisket or ham sandwich $6 whole or 1/2 for $4. they have a lot of specialty coffee hot chocolate chai tea and espresso drinks in 3 sizes 12,16 or 20 ounces. ranging in prices of $2 to $4. Sauces and flavor a available also. I cannot rate these as I do not drink lattes, cappuccinos or fruit smoothies. A variety of bagels, muffins and oatmeal cups are available all day. Will try the muffins. The shredded pork sandwich is a typical shredded sandwich with generous portion on large bun. Mild sauce is very good. Baked beans are good. Ribs were black so I feared a burned taste, they were juicy, fell off the bones and were very good. This is a convenient stop on my way home and the wait time even if you don't call in is very minimal. The young man that owns the place is very nice and patient while you decide on the menu. We will go back and I look forward to trying different items.

In years past, this has been a hit-or-miss resort experience. For many, the previous owners were not people friendly. The new owners Mark and Heather and their 7 home-schooled polite children are the complete opposite. You couldn't find more hospitable, hard working, very friendly folks. Transient slips with power are $1 per foot. Motel rooms are available with a launching ramp for trailerable boats. The food was excellent, although the menu is limited. You basically eat what they eat. (Heather's Georgia fried chicken with 3 veggies was the gold standard in my book.) Beer bar. Accessible by car through Spring City, TN or by boat at mile 545 on Watts Bar (TN River). Absolutely beautiful lake setting. I hope their resort dream comes true. T 423-365-6060

The morning we stopped at Hardee's they were, to be fair, very busy; however that is no excuse for poor service which what we experienced. The employee who served us at the drive thru window explained that they were out of creamer for the coffee. My Dad, rather surprised, asked if they had some kind of substitute and our server then reluctantly admitted she COULD go get a box from the back. Not a fan of lies with my breakfast.
