We stopped by because the parking lot was full and we were hungry. I could instantly tell it was a local favorite. There was a bit of a wait but not horrible- about 20 minutes.
Appetizer: fried mushrooms- these were so good. I would definitely recommend. They were perfectly fried. Taste was amazing.
Entrees: We got the lunch special. Chicken fried steak and the fried fish. My husband like his chicken fried steak. He ordered macaroni and mashed potatoes as his sides.
I was not a fan of the fried fish. It had absolutely no taste to it. I also did not like the batter used. I ordered mashed potatoes with gravy and French fries. Mashed potatoes were good but did not like the French fries.
Decor: loved the decor. They had a hunting theme with deer heads all over. They have the fishing channel on their TV.
Service: it was good but could have been better. My husband had to ask for refills. We came as rush hour was dwindling so by the time we were done eating there were plenty of open tables.
I can’t remember the exact cost for our meal but it was around $22. So it was not bad considering all we ordered.

Their phone number is (830) 833 - 4930. They're listed on Super Pages and have been open for about a month.
I had breakfast with a group of car enthusiasts mid January. The Eggs Benedict were very good.
So good, that I decided to bring my life partner for lunch today. We arrived, were seated to a half full house about noon. Coffee immediately on the table with the lunch menu.
From there it was downhill - on the menu were 7 house favourites, 10 hot sandwiches and three wraps. The only things available were 1 of the 10 sandwiches, none of the three wraps BUT ALL of the 7 house favourites that we did not care for - mashed potatoes, cooked veggies not a great lunch accompaniment that we were seeking at that time of day.
Should have paid for the coffee and left but we did not and after a long wait ordered the only sandwich available - the Santa Fe. Sandwich was OK but not spectacular. The tortilla chips and salsa disgusting. Stale and watery.
Getting the bill for this mess another long wait. Finally got the attention of another server to pay our bill. That was an adventure in itself as nobody knew the computer system did not accept a foreign card without a pin.
I did leave a tip for the person who helped us the hell out.
Will not be back or recommend.

Have to give them 5 stars. This place came highly recommend by everyone we talked to. Now we know why. First our waiter was great, the food was outstanding. I had one of the nightly specials. Rabbit. This was highly recommend by our waiter. Outstanding! She had the grilled salmon. No need to compliment them anymore. Best restaurant in the area.

We stopped here on our way back home for breakfast and coffee on a Saturday morning. The place we had originally chosen for breakfast had an hour wait, so we moved on down the road. When we arrived at The Loft, the parking lot was full, so we made our own parking spot under a tree. Once inside realized there was still plenty of seating downstairs. We got the quiche Lorraine and Spinach. Both were awesome. I ordered a chai tea and hubby had mocha latte. They have professional equipment and the drinks were very good. The people were nice. I would go here again and stay longer to relax and chat.

We stopped by Bulverde Donuts for a leisurely breakfast. The Baked Goods were delightful. The customer service was NONEXISTANT and the atmosphere was gloomy and sad. What a difference a smile, some music and a more tidy environment would make. I guess they was people to take out all the food. So sad, could be a GREAT little place. Apathy will some day kill this business.

Silver Sage Grille gives you a comfortable dining experience, offering great service in a "casual-elegant" environment. Our menu is best described as American-Eclectic with Cajun and Texas inspired dishes. Fantastic Food. Great Service. Wonderful Ambience.
I was advised that this was the place to eat in town. The advice was very good. I arrived
early evening for dinner, was promptly seated and served my drink. The food arrived in a timely manner, was hot, and the presentation was excellent. The service was excellent and the staff was friendly. The cost was reasonable It was clean and had a nice atmosphere.

My significant other usually only eats pepperoni woth jalapenos. Same old every where. This place has amazing pizza. crust is awesome as is the sauce. I could only eat one piece they are so large I had to fold in half. They serve beer and wine. Truly the best place I have eaten in the area.

We chow down on bagels each time we visit the Northeast and always wished somewhere near us served them too. When a friend told us about Ernie's Gourmet Bagels - Texas Sized New York Style - we ran right over there.
WOW! Real bagels made fresh with 11 different flavors! We sat right down, had Ernie prepare some with his various tasty spreads and then took more home.
In addition, he has breakfast bagel sandwiches - lots of different variations on egg, ham, sausage, bacon, cheese, and steak plus several kinds of "Lunch Bagel Sandwiches". Don't forget to pick up some fresh baked cookies too!
If you like REAL bagels (or have never had a real bagel), give yourself a treat and stop to try
some. Definitely a must for us.
