Last stop on our three day mini vacay in CT and this place looked interesting and had good reviews so we gave it a go. So glad we did. Good news, Good food!! Farm fresh food, Not your typical menu or approach to food. my husband had a burger. which came with fries, and cole slaw and he was just so happy!. I had the tuna melt which came open on an English muffin with melted cheese, a roasted tomato and a strip of bacon on it. Thought I had died and gone to heaven!! And a nice little salad of greens and fruit to boot. We were completely stuffed , but how can you not order dessert? So we shared an apple cranberry tart that came topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzled withe caramel sauce. Fabulous!!! Do stop in if you find yourself antiquing in Woodbury.

It's a busy place so be prepared to wait. Parking is good and there are tables to sit at.
The ice cream selections are excellent! (The German Chocolate Brownie is to die for!) All of it is made on the premises from their own cows. Bring an appetite as a small waffle come has 3 hearty scoops of ice cream! 5hus is not a place to go after a meal, it's the "snack between meals"..... LOL!

In the area for a wedding. Met relatives for breakfast. Promptly greeted and seated upstairs. Very pleasant server. Food arrived quickly. Was fairly good, certainly ample portions. Definitely worth a trip.

The baristas are friendly and know orders of their regular customers. Drinks are always made well and taste great. The renovation on this location didn't optimize the space; its's narrow and not very cozy. It's always had wonderful people working here, though, which is more important.

We went mid-week. Food is excellent and the portions are huge! My husband could not finish his burger and neither could I and I only ordered the small one while he got the 1 pound one. Lots of french fries and hot. Service was quick and friendly. A typical american diner by the side of the road.

First the food...which was staggeringly delicious. We started with the Arugula Salad and Bruschetta app which turned out to be a sort of deconstructed cheese and crouton filled bruschetta salad. Then far more pizza than we expected...but again it was all delicious - a Calabrese, a Neapolitan, and a four cheese. The drinks were excellent as well - an IPA and a glass of wine for the adults and a really good ginger ale and an IBC root beer for the kids.
But in a way what was most pleasing was the atmosphere and service. It was packed on a Friday night but we were made to feel welcome and even though the joint was jumpin' our server was friendly, prompt, and attentive.

Lauretta and I celebrated our 56th Honeymoon dinner here. Wow! Perfect ambiance and great food. Kim our waitress opined that the lobster bisque here was the best anywhere... and we can second that! Yummy! Lauretta enjoyed the Olive Tree Chicken, and I the special Cod with lobster and crab sauce, clearly the best I have ever had. We desired elegance for our anniversary, and The Olive Tree has it. The decor throughout was impeccable in color and presentation. A Baby Grand piano near the entrance had five huge old-fashioned candle lanterns placed nicely on it, the candles all lit. A nearby fireplace had seven candles in white vases burning nicely as well. And yes, we had a candle burning on our table, which was located at a corner location with the best view possible of the entire dining facility, as well as the beautiful gardens, flowers, trees, and other yard pleasantries. A memorable dining experience in a memorable restaurant.

Great food but its always the little things that turn you off. When you pay + $20.00 for an entree , its a bit tacky to get an up charge because you are having blue cheese dressing on your salad. Do they really need to charge 75 cents for about two tablespoons of dressing?

This is a great place for lunch if you are in a hurry or just meeting a friend. The salads and soups are very good. Sandwiches are OK.

This is where we go for pizza. Very busy for takeout which means everyone close by goes here. Great Italian food, any kind of pizza made to order and a glass of wine ! What could be better. Small place right off the highway and quick service. They get my vote !
