I saw 5 police cars in the parking lot so I decided to stop. A small taqueria with a religious accent.
I just order a breakfast taco (beans and potatoes. I was served quickly, but it was potatoe and bacon.
The price was a little high ($2) for the area and the small tortilla. Flavor was good. you can get the same taco for $1.25 at other places.

I have been eating lunch at this location about once a week for probably 4 years now. It is quite easily my favorite Mexican Restaurant in Houston. I have never had a bad meal or poor service as this location. Fresh food, great service, good prices,.. not much else to say.

Over the years I'd heard people say that one or another Waffle House was a good, predictable place to grab some fast diner food. My first try was in Houston 4 years ago. Place was cruddy, reeked of grease and the food was just as bad. Not one to hold a grudge I dismissed it as an example bad local management and passed it off. 2 years ago I stopped on I-10 and gave it a 2nd try. Much newer, cleaner, etc. Same menu. Tasteless, same grease and the coffee was close to warm colored water.
The 3rd strike came last November back in Houston. Different location, a little less grease on the counter and walls. This time the "wait staff" and counter man must have been recruited from a prison farm. Acted annoyed that a customer came in and interrupted their chit-chat. No "can I help you", " thanks", etc. Dropped the idea of eating, had coffee ( same dishwater recipe) and left for the absolute last time.
I'm not a big fan of Fast Food in general, but the public should at least be served reasonably well prepared food in a clean setting. MY advice.....stick to Wendy's, What a Burger, etc.

When my family and I visited the Denny's near Gulf freeway in Houston, I was pleasantly surprised. Our server, Mike, was very fast and efficient , he put our order right in so the food came out relatively quick. I ordered the Light veggie egg white omelette with English muffin and fruit but what I got was regular egg omelette, hash browns, english muffin and fruit. So if your looking for a lighter option just be very specific. The veggie omelette was packed with fresh squash, mushrooms and tomatoes>very tasty. I had a couple of bites of my husband's blueberry pancakes and they were very good. It was packed with what seemed like fresh blueberries. The report from my daughter on the chicken strips was very positive. The restaurant was clean and we had a very good meal. Enjoy!

When I travel I prefer to eat at local places to support local business. Glad I found this place. Warm atmosphere, friendly staff, cold beer and fantastic mexican food. Had the beef fajitas and they were as good as anywhere. If you're stuck spending the night near Hobby airport you have to check this place out for sure.

We ate here with our family on a Saturday evening. We were staying at the hotel across the road and it was the closest restaurant without calling a taxi. The food was filling but that's the best I can say about it. We sat outdoors and the traffic noise was terrible. The staff was friendly but not great. I would not eat here again.

This unassuming joint offers custom-sized burgers and a toppings bar to make it how you like it. I ordered a bacon burger and crinkle-cut fries. With a nice large Dr. Pepper, it made for a great burger experience if you're looking for something local to Houston. The burgers aren't necessarily unique, but it was certainly delicious.

This place has withstood the test of time, not by accident, but by design. The City Cafe has been around since the early 50s, not much has changed other than recently banning smoking in the joint. You can order off the menu or hit the buffet line, they both are equally as good. The homestyle cooking has kept me coming back. My first visit was back in high school and as luck would have it, my Pop lives near by. When I visit from Arizona, The City Cafe is my first stop. The portions are huge and made from scratch, they use the finest ingredients and and do not skimp on quality and portions. I have never had a bad meal here, the parking lot is always full so that tells the place must be doing something right.

We are very picky with food since the kids don't like spicy food and father needs soft food because he doesn't have teeth. Dentures are a bit loose and needs adjustment.
We love Thai and Mediterranean food and we seldom if not don't order Vietnamese food. This place made me a fan of Vietnamese food. There was no way the food was too spicy but instead taste very good. They have weird names of their food which are hard to pronounce but the coupe/brod/sis team will help you out.
Went to yelp to see the pictures and names of foods to order as a guide.

these things are good!! You will hurt yourself. I bought way too many and eat them all. They are very good. You can see them make it right on sight which i think adds to the experience. Make sure you stop in for at least one, good luck with that LOL
