The smallest of the Trójmiasto (Tri-Cities), the Baltic Sea spa town of Sopot is smack between Gdansk and Gdynia, just a few miles from each. A retreat for the rich and royal for centuries, Sopot’s exclusive air remained even through the Communist era, and the tony town has undergone a building boom in recent years. Boasting beautiful beaches and ritzy resorts, Sopot is also known for its Wooden Pier (the longest in Europe), the lovely mid-woods Forest Opera and lively Monte Cassino Street.

I visited Karczma Irena with my family for a dinner during Christmas break. I ordered a beef cheeks with vegetables and puree of celery and a glass of wine. The meal was very tasty, the meat was fresh and very soft. My relatives ordered a pork chop with cabbage and knuckle of pork from the oven. Everybody were very satisfied. The service was nice, professional and helpful. The place is not very spacious inside but it is good for the family dinner (long table) or dinner for two. There is a cosy atmpspere inside, the place has a vintage, old polish style. It may be difficult for disable people to moving inside because of the dark light and the narrow space but the service is very helpful and for sure will help in any case. For the customers there is the free car park behind the Inn, firstly it was hard to find it, while we were looking for a free place to park. To sum up, I truly recommend this cosy place.

A little corner of the South of France in Pomerania. We propose authenthic and traditional food and wines from theses regions from the South. Home-made Foie Gras and Duck Confit are aour specialties. The French owner (native from the Gascony) speaks French, Polish, English and German.
Nice cozy little reataurant, feels like in France. Amazing foie gras, and one of the best duck I’ve ever had!! Onion soupwas exellent, and boar was great too.
Very nice owner, wine was ok, a bit cold maybe :-).
As others wrote you can hear the train, but it doesnt bother at all.
I find it was a really nice romantic restaurant with great food! In my opinion its a bit too expensive, could eat similar food in the south of France for this amount... besides that it was amazing :-)

I came there with a polish friend from Sopot : so nice experience !
First, the place is gorgeous, nested in the dunes, in front of the large Baltic beach...
then the food is very good with fresh fish, direct from the Baltic, good wine list and good service.
Come without doubt, and enjoy !

Nowy Świat is a place in the very heart of Sopot... in which one can taste modern Polish cuisine at its best. The menu, based on seasonal, fresh and local ingredients, will please the most demanding guests and it is a must in the Tricity area for people looking for a cocktail sensation. Our aim is the promotion of traditional, often long-forgotten Polish ingredients, both - in the kitchen and behind the bar.
Visiting Family in Sopot we had delicious dinner in Nowy Swiat... Great food, amazing service from waitress named Ula, she offered us the best food from menu card and coctail from bartender Marek. we felt very welcome, out three years old daugter also was very welcomed and pleased by great food.

The Blue Pudel is the place with long tradition. An unusual decor of an art gallery which was located here years ago is characteristic of us. You will find also excellent drinks here, kitchens open to the last customer and the unforgettable climate. Be careful! That connection can win your heart!
Nice pub with a great staff, wide selection of beers and good food. Place is quite small, cozy rather for a small meeting or for couples.

The best restaurant in Sopot for sure.
This was our third visit over the last year, this time with friends celebrating a birthday. A loud crowd of 12 with high expectations is not easy to please but Toscana did it again!!
Perfect friendly service, exquisite food and great wines. I had the best octopus I’ve ever eaten.
The friendly “family” atmosphere makes everyone feel comfortable and at ease. We had the best evening and meal at Toscana again!
Highly recommended!

สวัสดีคะ Hello from Sopot. We are Thai Restaurant in Sopot. Welcome you all to taste real thai food. we are looking forward to see you.
Panaya is on Sopot's main street and it offers some of the best and least expensive food you'll find there. Thai food is renowned for the freshness of its ingredients and Panaya is no exception: everything here is served fresh and is beautifully presented. A great place for small groups and families to dine inexpensively.

We searched this place down because of it's Tripadvisor status and we weren't disappointed,it is a little hidden away behind some big street parasols, but we were happy to find it,the food was lovely and the waitresses were friendly and helpful,it also has menus in Polish and English, give it a try if you're in the area.

We decided to dine at Restaurant Morska on our last night in Sopot after Reading some good reviews and seeing on Tripadvisor that the restaurant offered gluten free options.
Sadly the evening was rather disappointing! I would NOT recommend anyone with any food allergy or intolerance to eat here...
Our waitress was very friendly, and other than a bit of a strange mix up at the end where I waited 25min for my change for paying the bill I can’t fault it. She was very friendly and nice. The problem is with the chef. The waitress explained that the chef will absolutely NOT swap any ideas on a dish. Practically all of the main dishes had something containing gluten. I had decided to have the Sea bass cooked in coconut milk with tomato couscous, mint, basil, asparagus, baby carrot, corn and sugar snap peas. I asked if the couscous could be swapped for something else that was gluten free, but the waitress explained she was really sorry but the chef will absolutely not swap anything on a dish, he will only remove things. Failing any other options on the menu that looked appealing that were gluten free I decided to go ahead and presumed that at the very least if the chef won’t swap anything he would at least give me some extra asparagus, carrot etc. But no, I simply had a very small plate of food! I’ve never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant.
My girlfriend had the same dish but with the couscous, the 2 photos of our dishes show just how pathetic my plate was compared to her’s. To make matters worse, other than the sea bass that was cooked well, the dish was totally lacking in seasoning and the carrots and corn were pretty much totally raw. It was an extremely bland meal.
I strongly suggest Tripadvisor removes the ‘gluten free options’ tag for this restaurant as I have never known such poor service from a kitchen.
